[One week. One week spent in the Haunted Mansion, and nothing seems to have changed. The hinges still creak in doorless chambers, strange and frightening sounds still echo through and you still occasionally catch a flicker of candlelight out of the corner of your eye. You might be slowly becoming familiar with the mundanity of this communal life, and we've recognized that possibility.

Something has to give.]

[She snatches his envelope and takes a quick look...]

[the picture included with this is a sketch of leopard in a treehouse. that's easy enough. the text below it reads:

"TARZAN'S BIRTH PARENTS WERE KILLED BY THE LEOPARD, SABOR. HE WAS FOUND AND RAISED BY AN ADOPTED MOTHER FROM A TRIBE OF GORILLAS - SHE HAS NEVER TOLD HIM THE TRUTH."

he looks on inquisitively.]

[Star, of course, has no idea of the weight of the revelation in her hands. She could have just read it word for word, but for some reason she just summarizes.]

Huh, it says you're adopted.

...Adopted?

[Does he really not know this?]

Yeah, it's like... your real family can't take care of you for some reason, so another family takes you in and raises you instead. Adopted!

Family...adopted.

[He's not really getting the association between those two words, but he knows that this is something serious.]

Have you ever felt like you were... different, somehow?

Like, maybe, you didn't have as much, uhh, hair as the rest of your family?

Hair. Different family.
