What sort of relationship does Miss Facilier have with Miss Pines? Anything notable?

The rest of us are only really connected by our being close to... [ Marco's death earlier in the week had hit Freddie pretty hard. ] ...Take me back to the guest room area, or wherever Miss Facilier may have moved to--something's. I don't like how this is tying together.

[And off they go to the hallway! On the way, Soos is thinking of those people, the fact that all of them had that line of pepper dust in front of their rooms, and that one of them ended up being a victim. Were...were all of them potential...

He shakes that thought away as they arrive, bringing his hand to the floor near Basil's own room.]

[ Oh, the line of pepper. Basil hesitates, glances back to where Freddie and Mabel are grieving by Ariel's corpse.

Just the pepper, hadn't noticed it before. [ He makes shooing motions at Soos as he looks over the inexplicable pepper. ] Go keep an eye on them--someone's targeting Miss Facilier this week, it's worrisome...

[Soos takes in a sharp breath hearing that. If the detective mouse thinks someone's targeting Freddie, and then along Mabel by association, then...it must be true.

He's only going to nod rapidly before running over there. He can't...he can't let them get hurt.]
