[Seems like there's no chance of getting a phone call out. So Wendy's decided to pack it up and head back to her room and search there, see if there's a key or secret passage, or if she can just go back to bed and this will all just not happen. And since her room happens to be on one of the far ends, she gets to catch glimpses of what's going on in the other rooms.
