[Now that we've got that out of the way, it seems the participants are free to explore the manor at their leisure. The entire first floor is available to them at all times, and any attempts to maneuver outside or to a different floor will prove useless. Seems you're going to get very familiar with this area over the next week or so.

There may be something there that wasn't there before, namely, a set of rules posted next to the bios. Take heed of them, mortals. If you wish to have a private conversation with your Host, it's now entirely possible.

With all that in mind, exploring sounds like a good idea. Proceed with caution, mortals. There are no safety bars to be lowered here.]

Okay, but that doesn't make sense. Mirrors don't... do that.

I think these mirrors do, but... don't look very long into it, Karolina. It's not very pleasant.

Uh... okay? That might as well happen, sure. So if you look into the mirrors, they teleport you. Add that to the list of weird stuff.

Magic makes sense. Or maybe some kind of really advanced technology? You could do all this stuff with teleporters and holograms too, probably.

Mm, it doesn't seem like a dark corridor, either... Wouldn't a teleporter need to be bigger? And I'm sure there would be a beam of some sort...

Maybe, but I dunno. There's a lot of... aliens it could be, for example.

I don't know much about aliens, so... I think I'll take your word for it.

I don't either. [ Which might seem weird, considering her profile. ] But that's the thing, there's a lot we don't know about them.

Mm... Mr. Ghost Host said there were other spirits... Are there such things as alien ghosts?

I mean... if humans leave ghosts, aliens probably do too. But I don't know, I'm not a ghost.

Probably. Do you think they still work if you put a sheet over one?

I'm not sure... We should try it, I think.

Probably safer. And way less startling. Do you... know if there are spare sheets anywhere?

I don't think so... not other than the sheets in our rooms.

Ah. Hm... I kinda like my sheets, and they're not actually hurting anyone. Maybe there's something else we can put up?

Maybe... we should look around, I think. But... I don't know if there are any storage rooms here.

I haven't seen any. Closest I saw is the room with the board games and the super ominous slot machine.
