[Now that we've got that out of the way, it seems the participants are free to explore the manor at their leisure. The entire first floor is available to them at all times, and any attempts to maneuver outside or to a different floor will prove useless. Seems you're going to get very familiar with this area over the next week or so.

There may be something there that wasn't there before, namely, a set of rules posted next to the bios. Take heed of them, mortals. If you wish to have a private conversation with your Host, it's now entirely possible.

With all that in mind, exploring sounds like a good idea. Proceed with caution, mortals. There are no safety bars to be lowered here.]

[While she's puzzling over the food, someone else wanders into the kitchen, intending on either getting something to eat that hopefully isn't covered in a layer of dust, out-dated, or both.

Naminé's not really blocking his access to anything by any means, so he's not going to make her move. But she doesn't seem to be picking anything out...]

Can't decide?

[ She looks over at him and smiles sheepishly. ]

No... and I'm not sure what any of this tastes like, actually.

[tadaishi]

Any of it?

[Either that makes her very picky or...maybe she can't eat much of anything. Hmm.]

I'd be happy to make you something, if you'd like. Or share, if you still can't think of anything.

[chainbroke]

No, not really...

[ She blinks, surprised. ]

You would really do that? I don't want to trouble you.

[tadaishi]

It's no trouble.

[She just has to wait for him to decide on something.

Which turns out to be teriyaki chicken, because he's just discovered marinade and chicken in the fridge. Yay.]

Any allergies?

[chainbroke]

Allergies? I don't think so...

[tadaishi]

Well, let me know if you eat anything and feel weird.

[Time to find a knife and then attack the chicken with it.

Or cube it up. Whichever.]

[ She nods, a little surprised he knew that. Even if it's information he got from the profiles, it's still a surprise. ]

I am. You're Tadashi, right?

I am. Tadashi Kotae.

[Grin.]

Just kidding about the last part. Can you get that sauce open for me while I wash my hands?

[ She blinks, not quite getting it, but she nods all the same. ]

Of course. If I can do anything else, too... I'd be glad to.

[ She'll start with the bottle though. ]

[Best new friend. Chicken is in the pan and so is the sauce and now they must wait.]

I don't think you'll need to. Just wait for the chicken to get done cooking...I'm not sure if we're supposed to clean our own dishes or our host does.

[ She peers into the pan a little curiously before turning to Tadashi. ]

Well... it would be good manners to clean them ourselves, wouldn't it?

[tadaishi]

[It was terrible manners for the Ghost Host to kidnap them in the first place, but.]

Even if it's just for the next person to use the kitchen.

[He doesn't want to get on Maui's bad side, at the very least. Or possibly Ford's.]

[chainbroke]

[ ... That's a point. ]

Then, I can clean them for us. Since you're cooking it all.

That's a fair enough trade.

I wish my brother was as helpful as you in the kitchen.

In the kitchen? Annoying.

[He'll go poke at his chicken while talking.]

He's a good kid, just hard to get along with sometimes.

But... you love him a lot, don't you?

More than anything.

...Don't tell him that, though, if you ever meet him.

[ Oh, now he's just confusing her. ]

Shouldn't he know that?

He claims it's embarrassing.

[Which means Tadashi just tries to give him as many hugs as possible. Which is also considered embarrassing.

Teenage boys. Don't try to understand them, Naminé.]

[ She's definitely not getting it, but she nods all the same. ]

I think having a sibling sounds... confusing. But... nice, too.
