[Now that we've got that out of the way, it seems the participants are free to explore the manor at their leisure. The entire first floor is available to them at all times, and any attempts to maneuver outside or to a different floor will prove useless. Seems you're going to get very familiar with this area over the next week or so.

There may be something there that wasn't there before, namely, a set of rules posted next to the bios. Take heed of them, mortals. If you wish to have a private conversation with your Host, it's now entirely possible.

With all that in mind, exploring sounds like a good idea. Proceed with caution, mortals. There are no safety bars to be lowered here.]

Searching for hidden passageways, I guess, but I ended up spending about an hour trying to break down the window in the conservatory.

Pretty sure there's a forcefield around it.

Mm, I noticed that, too. They seem impervious to force of any kind.

I don't get it. What's the point of even having of having the windows in the first place? Ghosts don't need windows, do they?

[Admittedly her knowledge of ghosts are pretty minimal.]

Well, I imagine that at one point there were living people here. Ghosts usually don't tend to build houses, just haunt them.

[Ford chuckles.] But surely the undead enjoy the view every now and then, too.

I guess, I just figured if they wanted a view outside they'd, you know, float through the walls outside.

You got a point there. If I ever come back as a ghost I feel like I'd still helping out those in need.

Tell me about it. I think GH is a little bitter about the fact we're alive, and that's the reason why he's letting t his happen.

I can't exactly blame him. [Ford snorts.] Not that it justifies any of this, of course.

Of course it doesn't. If only he wasn't incorporeal, I could beat some sense into him.

We just need to determine what category he is before we can figure out his weaknesses.

There are different kinds of ghost? I just thought they fit under the category of "ooh I'm gonna scare ya!"

[She wiggles her fingers to emphasis her point.]

Of course! Ten categories that I've discovered alone, though I'm certain there are more!

Wow really? What exactly are the differences?

... Preferably with what type of ghost you think GH might be. Maybe we can figure something out.

There are far too many for me to spit out. If I had my journal with me I could merely show you. But the category ones are obviously the weak and harmless ghosts. The category tens are the most dangerous and deadly. I'd place our dear Host at around...a Category 2. A prankster. He hardly seems any more troublesome than that.

That's good then. Don't haveta worry about him fighting back once I do learn how to punch them.

Hopefully. It could be I've misjudged him. There are also the rest of the house's inhabitants to consider.
