[You wake up in a bed.

A rather comfy bed, but as you open your eyes, you realize that this room is not one you’ve ever been in before. And even the most villainous of you should notice that something is immediately very off by how morbid your room looks. While generally clean, it looked dark and like it was a part of a very old house.

And that “Rest in Peace” throw pillow really isn’t doing the room any favors.

Meanwhile, on the dresser on top of your new notebook, there is also a message:]

When the clock strikes 13 o’clock. You must all meet in the stretching room for a special announcement.

[Well, it would be rude to refuse an invitation, right?

As soon as you leave your room, you notice a stark difference between the bedroom and the rest of the building. It looked like it hadn’t been kept up in ages, and it shows with how everything is caked in dust or covered in cobwebs. But judging by the other bedroom doors, possibly with other people peering out at the same time you, at least you’re not alone in this strange situation.

As you explore the rest of the first floor of the mansion, you’ll come to realize that, besides the bedrooms, the whole place is rather decrepit and dimly lit. While all rooms may provide a great interest in you, the the bios of all your foolish mortals might be useful to you, especially if you enjoy finding out how much your new captor has learned about you.]

Rooms

[The strangest thing about this whole situation is that Lea doesn't remember falling asleep. He was just walking home to his mom's after eating ice cream with Isa, what's he doing here? It's not like he usually forgets things, either: memory is important to him.

He looks at the note (what's a stretching room?) and looks dubiously at the notebook (is this schoolwork now?) before poking around further. Nope. This is no place he's ever been. Did he pass out and get taken somewhere? That might make sense.

He's got to try to escape. But... when he tries the door, it's not locked. There's got to be more to it than that. And when he peeks into the filthy hall, he sees the first clue.

He's not alone.]

[Reading is not Lea's cup of tea, but when he sees the (thin) tome with his name on it, he makes an exception.

He's shocked to find a biography. Even more shocked to find it's not that interesting. He ends up flipping through it before jamming it back in the case and hitting the button next to it.

Oh. Music. That's not what he expected. Before the song is even done, he's hitting other buttons, seeing what other songs play.

It's getting loud in here.]

[Mulan's song is loud already, but adding other songs to that just makes it worse. She covers her ears and tries to shout at Lea over the noise.]

[Oops. He was so focused on hearing all the songs that he didn't notice he wasn't alone. That's a little embarrassing. His finger freezes over the nest button, then withdraws.

He has to shout to be heard too, and is barely audible over the cacophony.]

Sorry! Didn't see you there!

[Yeah she didn't catch half of that, it's way too loud.]

What? I didn't say you sewed there!

[ --turning to him with an expression of complete and utter disbelief. He's... younger, with brighter eyes and a less cocky look than she's used to. He had faded away, sure, but... Surely a Nobody can't de-age, right?

She breathes in and tries a smile. If he recognizes her that'll lead to less questions but if not... ]

[There's no recognition in his eyes as he taps his head, then grins at her.]

[ The little motions blindside her, and she struggles to keep her smile in place. So... What's going on here? ]

Hmm. Kidnapped, moved to a mysterious 'n' creepy old building... It's probably haunted too. Big, spooky ghosts. And a mysterious announcement? What's a stretching room, anyway? This whole situation's really fishy.

[ She relaxes the tiniest bit. It's still alarming, seeing a much younger--and whole, she assumes--version of someone she'd spent most of her existence with. ]

It is... but, maybe if we go to that stretching room, we'll find our answers?

[All the girls back home would scream when he told scary stories. Maybe they were just playing it up, but he's unconvinced.]

Everyone keeps pressing all these buttons at once. I swear I've been hearing all these songs playing at once for like an hour.

[Well, that sounds like an eventual headache. He lifts his finger and another song joins the cacophonous medley. He's pressed... honestly a lot of the buttons, but at least not all.]

Yup. Sorry, dude. Just when you think you're doing something original, someone's already decided to do it. [Like she... almost... did.]
