[Well Ratigan couldn't care less about what happened, but he really didn't get his fill of partying from the bar and everyone simpering wasn't how he wanted it to go down. Soon after the trial little notes are slipped beneath each door.]

[In the lobby Thalia will have moved some tables to the lobby and provide her choice dish of cheeseburgers along with a smattering of bread, fruits, and vegetables. Reyna will have brought along hot chocolate galore.

For those that aren't your thing? Well in honor of the recently departed there's pine tree shaped cookies (Thanks Thalia.) and triangle crackers with cheese (thanks...Ratigan?). And there's a helping of drinks if the bar wasn't enough for you wink wink. Ratigan has every intention of making this a party.]

I was wondering if, um. You still had the tree? [She realizes that's a horrible question out of the blue so she immediately rushes to clarify.] I thought it would be nice to leave a branch for Dipper, since leaving his hat would be . . .

[Her hand tightens around the brim of Dipper's hat. She takes it off and lets it fall to her side.]

I don't know. It feels weird to leave since he actually owned.

[ ...Oh. She turns- she hadn't been looking, really, focusing on that cookie mix- and her expression softens. ]

It's in Reyna's room. Let me get the key from her, and...we can get ourselves a nice Christmas branch for him.

Thank you. Oh! [She holds out the hat.] You were friends, right? He'd probably want you to have this.

[ Oh... She takes it. ] We were. I... Thank you. I'll wear it proudly.

[ Hat hair and all. ]

I'm sure it'll look great on you. [That's sincere. She means that.] Anyway, ah - do you need me to do that for you while you go track down Reyna?

[She points to the cookie batter.]

...Oh, actually that would be wonderful? Yes, it shouldn't be too hard to find her.

[Amanda takes the bowl of batter and smiles at Thalia.]

Go. I can manage this for a few minutes.

[ And you know for simplicity's sake we are just assuming that Thalia finds Reyna easy enough and acquires key, because handwaves handwaves

She's back in a few minutes; the batter should actually be done pretty soon, all good and mixed, just needs to be shaped and put in the oven...and Thalia returns just in time for that! ]

Do you want to put them in now? We won't be gone for that long, I don't think they'll burn.
