[Friday arrives, the deadline to go through with the motive. A motive which will destroy what you love most if no one is murdered. It's enough to make most people at least concerned about the possible outcome.

When everyone wakes up that morning, they'll find that the bedrooms and foyer are clear, so maybe that means that means that no one took the motive? Maybe you can just go back to sleep and forget this whole thing.

However, there are still those sprawling movie sets out there, but maybe we're just being paranoid.

[She's surprised by that answer. Wasn't this a nobleman? She stared at his hand for a moment before wiping her eyes with her sleeve. Reaching over, she hands him a rag instead.]

It'll be faster together.

[Thor offers her a small smile, though he's exasperated at her determination.]

As you wish. [He'll take the rag and mop up the blood as best he can. He's not particularly disturbed by it, but it's not pleasant.]

No. Not well anyway. We talked a little but... not enough I suppose.

[Cause... yeah. They're cleaning up the blood after all. She scrubs while Thor mops.]

[He knows it's morbid to talk about her while they're cleaning up her blood, but he tries to keep it light.]

Why did you take it upon yourself to clean?

I do all the cleaning for my stepfamily back home. I'm...used to it.

[Thor pauses for a second to process that, then resumes mopping.]

[She hesitates, staring at the soapy, bloody floor.]

When my father died, my stepmother took over the estate, but she didn't use our money wisely. She fired the staff, and now I suppose I'm the staff.

Maybe you ought to take matters into your own hands and run away-- once we leave here, I mean. [He doesn't want to say if.]

A life lived for the whims of others isn't much of a life for you.
