[The contraption is less weird in how it's set up and more in that it's clearly something that shouldn't be there. Even if Moana never went to the second floor, she would realize that a chainsaw covered in blood would be completely out of the ordinary for this place.

[It's a little hard to recognize at first. In fact maybe Moana confused it for something that came out of the Art Room before it hits her that it's a familiar figure.

His entire body has been soaked with blood, to the point that he's barely recognizable even when Moana starts to piece it together. And, speaking of piece, his body has very clearly been cut in half, in case anyone was hoping he could be saved.
