[One week. One week spent in the Haunted Mansion, and nothing seems to have changed. The hinges still creak in doorless chambers, strange and frightening sounds still echo through and you still occasionally catch a flicker of candlelight out of the corner of your eye. You might be slowly becoming familiar with the mundanity of this communal life, and we've recognized that possibility.

Something has to give.]

[Week 4 everyone loses their hands. In an attempt to defuse any awkwardness, she decided talking about robot arms would be a safe way to go.]

Don't say that, if I wasn't so attached to these ladies the idea of being able to break out of this place with a robotic arm would be too cool.

But at least, once you realize you can't fit, you can back up, take a sec, and then find another way through. Your own way! So that's something.

Aw, I thought that the folks that lived on the planet built it for you! You know, as a testament to how amazin' you are to them. [Psssh guess Maui isn't awesome?] Still impressive that you could make it all on your own!

Of course I do. [Maui jabbed a thick finger forward, pointing out M-A-U-I in that order. After a minute or two, he pointed out a few more.]

These ones look like the one in the foyer. They're names, right?

[Gangsters?] I don't know... I never really saw anyone with a lot of them before.

Okay... [She's not sure how much she believes it. Then again, a living tattoo is already pretty weird, so why not a living tattoo that can talk to the guy he's tattooed on?] So where he did come from exactly? Did someone ink him on you, or did he just appear out of nowhere? [She shrugs. Who knows how that works for demigods?]

An evolutionary throwback is an organism that hasn't changed or evolved much since it originally appeared on Earth. They tend to be able to survive harsh conditions and weather extreme stress.

Excellent. Or, well, they make up names. So your name, Maui, is made up of four letters. [He points to each one as he says it aloud.] M, A, U, I. They are also a part of countless other words, but in this particular combination, they mean...you!

[He points out the letters to his own name, saying them aloud in turn.] Just like F-O-R-D spells my name. Ford.

I think its a few sizes too big.

The bug's life is a difficult one.

[He moves another into a gap, presenting a united front.]

[He takes it. He's playing to get a grasp on others' personalities, not to win, after all. Anna... surprisingly sneaky.]

[Surely there won't be a murder to ruin their plans.

Wander moves his pieces in a seemingly random patter, with one side moving forward and the other holding back.]

I'm trying to be a better fighter but it's hard without practice against a lot of people, and I've only really got one close friend.

[Lea tries to keep a unified front, but it's patchy, and he's not trying to win, really. It's only a short while before he's out of pieces.]

You're good at this!

[And a pretty direct, good guy, seems like.]

[He takes one of Lea's pieces, bringing him closer to the opposite end of the board.]

I practice, that's all. [He can destroy Lea if he wanted.]

[What can she say? She does a have a little bit of a competitive streak. That said, she takes his piece since she was luring him into a trap.]

My own way... heh. [She laughs but still looks a little sheepish.] I don't know how well that would go over, but... thanks.
