[The initial groups have begun to disperse, and Ghostave and a group of stalwart young heroes remain seated right where they are.]

One of the things we’re looking for is supposedly in The Underworld. I intend to use this opportunity to speak to Hades as well, about his intentions.

...As well as find this “other box” that he seems to have so casually mentioned. Do we have any questions before we venture forth?

Also an eyeroll. You wanted help, Hades. This is them helping. Not their fault "helping" tends to involve being annoying. ]

...Can he draw any conclusions as to what that corner might have depicted, through comparing the depictions in the remaining three corners and examining the remaining edges of the torn-off one? Like, is there a common theme among the corners, or any identifiable imagery leading into the missing corner? ]

[Nope! It doesn't look there was anything painted there besides more shadows, they seem to be emerging from each corner and congregating in the middle of it, swirling about in a sea of inky blackness. It's fairly abstract.]

[ ....Maybe the artist's signature had been there? Very odd.

Anything else seem off about the painting or its immediate surroundings? ]

[Well, since Basil seems to be examining the painting much more seriously, Elsa will trust him with that. He seemed like a smart enough sort while they were watching that round unfold, after all.

Instead, she'll turn her attention to the pedestal. Is there anything on it?]

Are they arranged in a certain pattern, or do they not overlap at all? And is there anything inside of them?]

[They overlap! There's a big circle, than two medium circles.

Nope. If there was something inside them, it's been well and burned up by now.]

The symbol appears a lot in - you know, ancient text. Pretty common in summoning rituals. The fact it also happened to be the symbol for Walt's wacky enterprise is no skin off my back.

This one? That was for personal use. Conjuring up a little animated something-something. The ones I'm having you look for were placed there by Walt.

I conjured up a hellbunny, yeesh. [just holds up fuckin thumper] I was planning on giving my dog a treat.

Any distinguishing characteristics we need to keep in mind, then? Past "Hades already knew this one's location". I doubt any of us want to rely on double checking your awareness of every common-ritual-symbol we come across.

The ears are red. The main circle is black. They turn purple when you activate 'em.
