ENDGAME GROUP 1: Hellscapes (Log 1)
Now then.
[The initial groups have begun to disperse, and Ghostave and a group of stalwart young heroes remain seated right where they are.]
One of the things we’re looking for is supposedly in The Underworld. I intend to use this opportunity to speak to Hades as well, about his intentions.
...As well as find this “other box” that he seems to have so casually mentioned. Do we have any questions before we venture forth?
(ooc: if you’re in group 1, this is one of your logs!)

We can only imagine what he'll do to us if he knew.

[Slow turn to the rest of the boat passengers.]
Riiight?

[Sorry about that.]

[ She holds her pinky out and mimes it. ]
There you go. Pinky promise.

[plus he's. not entirely sure who Hades is, anyways. so.]
no subject
[Yeah, not telling anybody]

[The boat starts moving a little faster, as if directing them somewhere.
After awhile, the boat seems to approach a small black box, similar to the one they were kept in.]
Here it is.

[ She looks it over. ]
It probably works like the first one, right?

[He hopes they have a plan]

[ That's a no. ]

[His mind is already showing him worst-case scenarios, buuuuut if nothing's done then they're never going to get out of the Underworld, so he has to swallow his concerns and keep trucking on -- and hope everything will be over soon]

What we could do is tie some string around the box and carry it around until we find the right magic spell to open it.
no subject
[He looks around, as if expecting to find one. Huh. That's a banjo]
I know this is a bad suggestion, but your banjo has some sturdy strings, right?
[Demyx knows better than anyone a person's instrument is to be cherished, but these are desperate times]
no subject
Well...if we got no other choice...
[Farewell, C-string. You will serve a noble purpose, he tells his beloved instrument as he loosens it.]

Thank you so much, ghosts. I don't know how I can ever repay you.
[But before he takes another step--] You know how to open it? I don't want those poor souls to suffer anymore...

And even if we don't have a way to open it now, we need to send someone in to tell those folks that we're gonna get them outta there real quick. Just to make sure they're not scared. If y'all are fine with it, I volunteer.
[He's had other people charge in before him and got killed for it. No more. He's taking the initiative here.]
no subject
[Demyx is not going to object to someone else being the first person to maybe put themselves in danger]
But I don't think they'll be scared. If it was like ours then it's not so bad inside.
no subject
Well, yeah, but what are they gonna think when they see a bright light and all of a sudden they're out here with a bunch of folks they never saw before starin' at them? It wasn't so bad for us since we knew who was comin' to our rescue.
no subject
Diiie?
[The fuck Wander what kind of saying is that.]
