ENDGAME GROUP 2: The Trial (Log 2)

[After Remy and Thalia stumble upon Bill’s makeshift trial room, it doesn’t take very long for the others to appear within the trial room. There are podiums set up as per usual, but there’s...really nothing keeping you to using them. The whole place smells terribly of ketchup, and is completely gold, each wal covered in massive tapestries.

There’s also a closed door at the back of the room. Not the way you came in. Guess someone needs to get in and out.]

WELCOME, TO YOUR TRIAL, KIDDOS! I’M NOT SUPER ENTHUSED ‘BOUT THE WHOLE “BURNING DOWN MY GIFT SHOP” THING, BUT I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE PARK ANYWAY! GOTTA HAVE SOME FUN BEFORE YOU DIE!

(ooc: this is the second and final log for group 2 - if you weren’t here for the previous log, feel free to use this as a jumping-in point!)

Uh.

[Well he did have a son. Haha. Upsetting how he's started thinking that in past tense consistently. Like he's got used to the idea that he's not welcome in Tate's life anymore. Mm.]

Fantasia, sure, bits and pieces of it.

Oh. Bet you were one of the hippies who brought it back in the ‘60s.

Glad for the recognition. But we didn’t make that film so you could smoke pot to it.
terribibble: (is he a tool)

[HEY]

I watched it with my kid.

[He also absolutely smoked up to it but that's neither here nor there]

Pssh.

Lemme guess. He hid behind the couch during Night on Bald Mountain.
terribibble: (this is how i took my SATs)

Oh, naw.

[Tate was a... Tate was a lot. A tiny, serious little thing. Less fragile than his father.]

Don't think that was his favorite part or nothin' though. He liked the dinosaurs best.

[You know, the sequence with brutal on-screen death and starvation. Kind of worse than Night on Bald Mountain when you get right down to it. That just had, what, tiddies? That was easily the worst part of it.]
rech: (AND WALKED ONTO A PIECE OF PAPER)

...Surprising.

Don't see what's surprisin' about a little boy likin' dinosaurs.

[Fidds that's not...]

...Not quite what he meant, dear.
terribibble: (absolutely very upsetting)

[personal profile] terribibble 2018-03-15 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[oh]

Oh you mean all the, uh. Demons and such.

[Well he sure as heck didn't like those but he was also a diddly-darn adult and could forgive a cartoon. He's not as straight-laced as some be-spectacled cartoon dads.]
sixfingeredstan: (01)

[personal profile] sixfingeredstan 2018-03-15 05:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Right. Frightening, for most small kids, I'd imagine.
terribibble: (do you like how i express myself)

[personal profile] terribibble 2018-03-15 06:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, well. My boy wasn't most small kids.
sixfingeredstan: (15)

[personal profile] sixfingeredstan 2018-03-15 06:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course not. He's your kid.

[and fiddleford mcgucket is ~not like other boys~]
