[The moment the shadows descend on them, Marco feels his heart beat in his chest quickly and loudly. It brings back a sense of utter terror from having been torn apart by them before-- he knows the extent of what they can do. But he can't let his fears stop him from fighting.

So he shuts his eyes tight and pulls out two flashlights he's had in his hoodie pockets, turning them on and just kind of... swinging them around with a battle cry praying that it's actually going to do anything.]

Marco! [ Kim's got his back, don't worry. ] Eyes up, okay?

[GOD BLESS YOU KIM

Her shout gets him to open his eyes again, and he backs up a little as he shines a light at a shadow.]

S-sorry! I got this, don't worry!

[The light actually works which is amazing because Boi]

It's okay. [ Her smile is audible, under her helmet. A laser-arrow, right into the shadows. ] We're a team. We can do this.

[Marco nods, giving her a smile in return.]

We're going to go home. We came too far to just--

[shoots another shadow with light pew pew]

--roll over and die like Hades wants!

[Suddenly, a shadow has grabbed on to Marco's arm.

It's a tight grip.]

[Oh.]

[The moment the shadow grabbed onto Marco's arm, he dropped the flashlight that was in his grip. He still has one other but-- it sends such a striking fear through him that he doesn't even think to use it. Instead he tries to tug his arm away, but it's definitely got a hold onto him doesn't it?]

[It's got a very tight hold on him, and he's tugging on Marco's arm hard.

...You don't have anything to grab on to, do you, Marco?]

[Except for Soos.]

MARCO!

[He's grabbing on to Marco's arm, pulling, and he's not letting go!

S-Soos!

[With Soos grabbing onto his free arm, it gets Marco to drop his flashlight. All he can think about right now is when the shadows had grabbed onto his leg and even with someone else here, it doesn't really make this... much better.

There's also the fact that. Currently both of his arms are being pulled and it kind of hurts?]

Soos, s-stop! It feels like my arm's gonna pop off--

[Star starts beating the shadow with the head of her flashlight]

[ Reyna is here to slash that fuckin shadow with her sword! SAVE THE MEME BOY!! ]

[Well, with Marco being tugged in two directions, there has to be a victor here and...

The shadow manages to rip it off not even a half-second before being completely obliterated by Star and Reyna. So there's just...kind of an arm on the ground now.]

Except you know the moment his arm tears away from his body, Marco lets out a scream of pain. He falls to his knees and his hand covers his wound and he's grateful he's got so many people around him because boy he's. Down for the count.]

[AGAIN? FUCKING AGAIN??

Leia glances over, face going white as a sheet, and though she's currently engaged with a shadow, she barks:]

Get him to the church! Put pressure on that wound! Oh, Force be with you, Marco—

OH SHIT!

[SORRY KIDS SOOS IS PANICKING

Soos is immediately trying to get pressure on the wound, using his hands only because he doesn't know what else to do.]

We-we need bandages! We need them now!

[NYOOM the orange spoon hears cries of help and is there with a pack of bandages and a first aid kit.]

What happened? What's goin' on? Who's hurt?

Arm! His-his arm-!

[HEAD GESTURES TO HIS NOW BLOODY HANDS]

Oh gosh, we gotta--we gotta clean that wound. [His shaking hands manage to open the kit and frantically rummage through its contents to pull out the alcohol.]

socks a shadow with one of his fists
