[An ominous door has appeared in the starry skies above The Other Side. It’s not at all what Group 3 expected to happen when touching the symbol - and yet, something about it doesn’t surprise you.

Should you leave with Rod and/or Walt and Mickey, you’ll find them here. All the facts will start coming together, and only one name comes to mind: Hades.

[she inhales sharply, trying to stave off the tears again-- but, it's not working, not now, and maybe she's just the type of villain that cries. these things do happen.

she nods wordlessly, and with the free hand that isn't gripping his shoulder, she raises the jar and smashes it against the ground next to them.]

[The glass breaks, and the soul floats into the air, disappearing. He smiles, as his breath fails him.]

[she stares up at the space where the spirit had disappeared. that's. that's better than it'd been, right? before the isle, and during his time here. he's free, from Hades, from this game, from anyone. gone to wherever it is people like them go. finally, finally free.]

... I love you, Dad. See you on the other side.

[she glances over at the others, ready to string up Hades for his crimes. she. thought she'd be more excited about that part than she is.

maybe she'll just stay here for a little while. she's not needed anywhere else, anyway. this is where she oughta be.]

[She's not sure if it'll work, but this seems like as good a time as any.]

I don't have the magic to use it, but a . . . friend taught it to me, in case I ever needed to heal someone.

[she looks, for a moment, like she considers it... then, she shakes her head.]

No. I'm not gonna be like them. When it's a person's time... They oughta go. You can't mess with it. [it's not a pretty picture]

Messing with life and death can go wrong pretty quickly. [That would be why she didn't attempt on any of the people in group 2.] I think it only worked for my friend because she had . . . a lot of practice.

Yeah, my explorations of that realm are gonna die along with him. [beat] For the most part.
