It's structurally sound, and it seems fitting that you can cross it.

Eventually, you'll see it. Elysium. The Land of The Dead. Gentle music plays as you cross over into the city.

It's...festive. It's always festive. The architecture is colorful and full of spirit, and your group seems to be the only ones...human in appearance. Even your old friends seem to be a bit more skeletal in appearance. You can spend as much time here as you like, but eventually, that bridge will disappear. And you'll have to leave.

But...they'll never truly be gone. Not if you remember them. And someday, you'll join them. But for now, you celebrate. You've earned your happy ending.]

[LeFou's breath catches in his throat, and for a moment he clings to Ford tighter, buries his face in Ford's sweater as if he can memorize the smell of him too.

And then he pulls back, wipes his eyes, and gives Ford a wet-eyed smile.]

In less than a year you did more to raise me than any man I ever looked up to before. I'm- I'm a different- a better person, because of you...

[He can have all the time he wants with Ford's sweater, honestly. It's very snuggly.

Ford reaches out and ruffles LeFou's hair fondly.]

I did what I could. What I knew how to do. It's just lucky it went that way instead of directly south. That...happened a lot.

[LeFou accepts the hair ruffling, and then goes in for another hug, briefly accidentally lifting Ford's top half from his bottom before he sets him back into place.]

I'm proud to remember you as my father, Ford. Thank you for all you taught me, about being myself and being... better. Than myself.

[Ford lets out a quite oof as the two halves of him are momentarily separated, but it's punctuated with a chuckle.]
