Recuérdame.
[Those of you who wish to see those who passed on? You'll be directed outside by Zeus, where he raises his arms, and marigolds begin to float around him. They float upwards, and form into a bridge.
It's structurally sound, and it seems fitting that you can cross it.
Eventually, you'll see it. Elysium. The Land of The Dead. Gentle music plays as you cross over into the city.
It's...festive. It's always festive. The architecture is colorful and full of spirit, and your group seems to be the only ones...human in appearance. Even your old friends seem to be a bit more skeletal in appearance. You can spend as much time here as you like, but eventually, that bridge will disappear. And you'll have to leave.
But...they'll never truly be gone. Not if you remember them. And someday, you'll join them. But for now, you celebrate. You've earned your happy ending.]
(ooc: This is the last log for the three canon rounds of Foolish Mortals! Thanks for coming along for the ride - we loved having you, and we hope to see ya real soon!)

Leia....I can hardly believe it.
[Just getting over there because her daughter is there. When she reaches her she just carefully puts her hands on Leia's shoulders.]
Look at you....my grown up, little Leia....

[She lets her skeleton mother come closer without an ounce of fear on her face, and stares at the skeletal face, trying to superimpose that one foggy memory she has of Padmé over the bone structure. She can almost see it.]
I never thought...I'd see you in front of me. Not while I was still alive. I—
[Her voice chokes up a little.]
I remembered you. All these years, I remembered.

I didn't dare hope. But you're strong in the force, just like your father.
[They've had a while to make up....still working on it. But she hasn't hit his head off in a while, so progress!]

[she doesn't shy away from the hug, strange as it may be. She rests her cheek against her mother's collarbone for the first time in her fifty-three years, and cries silent tears.]
Luke...Is he here, Mother? Have you seen him?
no subject
[Just hugs her as much as a skeleton mother can. She'd wanted the children so much, she wished she could have had more time with them, but she treasures the small memory she has of their birth.]
He should be around. There are so many here.... But I spoke with him.
...I'm so proud of both of you. And you even became a senator.
[Someone followed the family footsteps adopted and otherwise.]

Hearing her mother say she's proud...Leia practically glows with happiness.]
A senator and a general. I couldn't help but be a leader, between my lineage and the Organas' upbringing.

[Just a smile, someone has a lot of faith in the little messed up family that is the Skywalker clan, but hey Luke had to get part of it from someone.]
So I've heard. It might be part of your linage but that determination, that drive to help people, that's you Leia.
And all of us here are proud.

[That despite all her recent failures, despite the losses she's endured...somewhere, someone is proud of her. It's almost too much to process.]

[A hand on her shoulder.]
I know you have a lot to go back to Leia, but remember to let yourself be happy. You've done so much for so many.

I'll try. I have...I have some work to do, but after that, I think...I'm more than ready for retirement.

[Just a warm amused smile. Between the Skywalker clan, The Organa's and the Solo's.... Something always happened. Sometimes that something was another member of the family.]
I'm so glad I got the chance to see you. Now however, I don't expect to see you again for a long time....
[There's a slight pause and she wishes she could say something more light but really she has to bring it up. She after all had never lost a child, they had lost her. But she had 'lost' a loved one to the dark side of the force and .....she knows just how horrific that can be, how much it can destroy you. She's selfishly glad it wasn't Leia who faced the same fate she did at the hands of said loved one.]
But....I'm sorry about Ben. I hope he can find peace here. ....We'll all be here for him, I promise you.
