Recuérdame.
[Those of you who wish to see those who passed on? You'll be directed outside by Zeus, where he raises his arms, and marigolds begin to float around him. They float upwards, and form into a bridge.
It's structurally sound, and it seems fitting that you can cross it.
Eventually, you'll see it. Elysium. The Land of The Dead. Gentle music plays as you cross over into the city.
It's...festive. It's always festive. The architecture is colorful and full of spirit, and your group seems to be the only ones...human in appearance. Even your old friends seem to be a bit more skeletal in appearance. You can spend as much time here as you like, but eventually, that bridge will disappear. And you'll have to leave.
But...they'll never truly be gone. Not if you remember them. And someday, you'll join them. But for now, you celebrate. You've earned your happy ending.]
(ooc: This is the last log for the three canon rounds of Foolish Mortals! Thanks for coming along for the ride - we loved having you, and we hope to see ya real soon!)

Hope you mean an actual backrub, I think I’d fall asleep in the middle of anything else.
no subject
I do, actually. I'm ready to pass out for a week.

[He lets her lead him.]
How’s that wrist?

[She shrugs, bobbing her head side to side, as their feet scuff through marigold petals.]
Been better, but it's been worse, too. Starting to feel better now that it's wrapped up properly.

[She's dealt with worse than broken bones, after all, on the frontlines.]

Professional wound-lickers the both of us, huh?
[Meaning, they both know how to patch up just about anything that doesn’t leave them unconscious.]

[She thinks a lot, still, about that night in the laundry room. Bandaging up his knuckles. Kissing him for the first time. It's imprinted permanently on her mind.
She laces her fingers through his.]
I can't wait for you to meet Luke.
no subject
[he brings her hand up to kiss her knuckles, glad to be touching someone else with skin.]
Between you and me- he’s the weird twin, right? There’s no way you’re the crazy one.
no subject
[She laughs, now, open and unrestrained.]
Oh, he's definitely the weird twin. No bones about it.
[PHRASING, LEIA.]
no subject
[He loves that laugh. He’s not in a mood to return it, but it puts a smile on his face.]
That’s alright, I grew up with a weird twin, I can handle it.
no subject
[She raises an eyebrow at him.]
I can't believe you and I are the normal twins.

But he’s about to marry this beautiful woman. He can’t be anything but a little happy right now. So he does what he does best and shoves that back, where it’ll come up in nightmares of portals and blood and sightless brown eyes after she leaves. After she goes back to space and the kids are home and he’s. Alone.
He holds onto a smile. For her.]
Well, he must’ve been trying to impress ya.
no subject
Don't worry. I didn't think he was half as charming as you.
no subject
So he’d rather just dodge the question like a flaming bullet.]
One of us got the looks and one of us got the charm, what can I say.
no subject
[She gives him a wink.
Pausing, she glances around, at the clusters of people. Laughing, crying, hugging.]
We should split up. Let everyone know that should know.
