[There once were some worlds that worked so hard, there was just no time to play. But that will all changed when a weird bus pulls up one day.

Your character is going to be in the middle of whatever, at their home, on a mission, dying, whatever...when they’re approached by the giant Moron Mountain Party Bus. Approached is a strong word when it seems determined to reach your character at all costs, crashing through walls or blending in, whatever necessary.

Once the bus approaches and your character has taken notice of it, the doors open. You have three options here.

1. You can board the bus willingly, upon which the bus will close it’s doors drive/fly/dive towards it’s next pickup.
2. Be hypnotically entranced beyond your free will and dance on to the bus, thanks to the actually-hypnotic tones of ”We Like To Party” which the bus will play should you choose not to willingly board.
3. Have your character get pulled onto the bus by a giant cartoon hand that emerges from the top of it, grabbing and tossing your character on.

Once they’re on, you’ll realize the interior of the party bus is fairly luxurious. There’s a pole, a couple of drinks stashed next to one of the couches, and a disco ball. A few TV monitors hang around too, broadcasting some basketball game (but there’s a remote right there). There’s clearly someone wanting to keep you comfortable, but...who?

It’ll be of less comfort when you realize the bus doesn’t have a driver or a steering wheel, and as soon as you stepped on, all of your powers and weapons were rendered useless. It’s ominous, but hey, there’s drinks.



(ooc: Welcome to Foolish Mortals’ Non-Disney Round! You won’t arrive at Moron Mountain until the host intro log, so your bios and the locations haven’t come into play yet. If you or your character would want anything aboard the massive party bus within reason, feel free to assume it’s there, as it’s obviously pretty luxurious. The bus pick-ups happen in the following order, ICly:

[Okay so apparently Atlantis is real after all. And has a king. Well, she's cool with this. It's okay.] I suppose that's understandable, your Majesty. Although from what I understand they must first be tried by the laws of their own home country.

[There's a pause as she considers.] But it is possible your position would afford you a stronger case. There isn't any real international standard for this yet., after all.

[He meets her answer with a scoffing sound. Bah, he says. Bah!]

So I'm to wait for those fools at the U.N. to choose how we proceed? They drag their heels enough as it is when I bring them complaints.

[Wow, this much politics is beyond her scope. She seems to sigh a little.] Wow, I never heard about that on the news. [She can't believe the U.N. is apparently covering up an Atlantean conspiracy.] I thought Atlantis was supposed to be secret or something anyways?

It once was, and I would have preferred for it to remain that way. Unfortunately, you land-dwellers have made that impossible.

...yeah, I guess with the advancement of deep-sea exploration that would happen. [And considering all the ocean pollution that's gone on...] Have you managed to make any sort of progress with the U.N.? At least on pollution laws or something like that?

Not to mention your people's military ships and submarines. Only a fool would tolerate foreign powers invading their borders that way.

[Though... She almost seems concerned about Atlantis's situation? Weird.]

They've been more cooperative after a certain...incident, though still not as compliant as I'd like.

[She winces a bit. Yeah, there seem to be a lot of issues with an underwater kingdom interacting with the world above.]

What kind of incident? [And, well, she's a nice girl in general. He obviously cares about his kingdom a lot, so empathy!]

Believe it or not, I have more tolerance for you land-dwellers than some. I put a stop to a conspiracy that would have flooded your world.

[There's more to the story than that, but he doesn't really want to talk about his brother betraying him in a military coup, sorry child]

[You know what? It's hard for even Aquaman to keep up being so unrelentingly dour in the face of such a nice, polite young lady. Even if he's still trying.]

Still, it's good to know that what's good for your kingdom and what's good for us doesn't always have to be in conflict.
