Maybe you'll start to find new clues, but who knows if it will aid in your escape.

But perhaps... on the bright side... a new park location has opened up? At least you get music and art now!]

MOTIVE: “Crap, I forgot!”

[It’s Tuesday, Motive Day! You all gather around the trash castle as is customary, and await the golden calf of temptation that will hang over your heads during this week.

...and Swackhammer isn’t there. He’s not there for at least five minutes, before he runs out in his pajamas, muttering repeated “crap”s to himself. His mouth is covered in red dust, and he has a bag of Hot Cheetos with him.]

Erm, yes! It is time for your...your new...scary and horrifying motive that will terrify you over the course of the week to come! And that...that...the motive is, it’s a real big one! It’s...

[He looks around for a solution, before lightning strikes his brain.]

Hot Cheetos! If you kill anyone, I will give you...yes, a delicious bag of hot Cheetos! How devastating! One of you has gotta get the munchies sooner or later!

[At least Penny seems to have gotten her moping done by the time Saturday rolls around? She's out and exploring the new area, at least. It's not hard to tell she's not exactly her usual peppy self, though.]

[She ends up spending quite a lot of time in the art room, sketching on large pieces of paper. They're all pretty clinical, showing a decent eye for observation without any real artistic flair or framing.]

[The theme of the day seems to be King Dice, or more specifically, careful recreations of his card attack from Penny's perspective. There's also a few drawings of what look to be the casino tent's interior. All of these have notes scribbled in the available white space, things like size and speed and angle of attack. One of the casino drawings has the words "sneak attack???" written prominently in a corner and circled a few times.]

[Later, she can be found exiting Public School: the Ride, dutifully managing to dispose of her 3D glasses in a sad-looking, little-used recycling box despite her own slightly dazed expression.]

I- I never wanted to know that much about paperclips. There was so much and I don't understand how-

[For the first half of the day, Kubo's in a decidedly sour mood. This is likely apparent due to the fact that he spends several hours holed up in the gym-- he's taken the suggestion to make faux-weapons out of what garbage he could find laying around, from the look of it.

He has a wooden sword in hand and is just beating the absolute shit out of a stuffed version of the Lorax, one he got from King Dice's stupid gambling game. It's a good outlet for his anger.

Later on in the evening, he's calmed down significantly thanks to the discovery of the music room. As soon as he takes a glance through the door his whole face lights up.]

Yes! Finally!

[He pretty much goes around to every single instrument they've got, picking them up and trying to play out a tune on what ones he can figure out, though he's only really familiar with string instruments. Some sound better than others. Most sound downright awful, but he doesn't even care.]

Music Room

[Have some applause that's a little too enthusiastic to be called golf clapping, Kubo. How long has Penny been watching? Long enough, apparently.]

That was very good! Are any of these like your- shamisen instrument?

[Though he's a bit startled at first (if only because he wasn't really paying much attention to the area around him), Kubo's used to playing for an audience and grins in response.]

Thanks. None of them are really the same as what I'm used to, but a couple are close enough that I could play a few notes. They just have more strings to figure out.

[He points over towards a guitar and banjo he's got leaning up against a wall-- they've been the most similar thus far, so he made sure to set them aside to mess around with more later.]

I'm not sure if any of them would work with my origami, though.

Art room

[Dan Backslide, coward bully cad and thief, casually walks into the art room, ready to make a sick watercolor painting or an elaborate clay pot.

And then he looks at the drawings.]

YIKESARINO, LOOKING FOR PEPE SILVIA I SEE.

Music Room

[A cigar gets thrown into the music room from the hall.]

PLAY WONDERWALL YOU COWARD.

[Looks at cigar. Looks back at Dan.]

she watches her draw for a bit, suitably distracted from her own work.]

[Huh. Those sure are plans. What if Swackhammer and King Dice hear about them? What if they can see them? Oh no...that will ruin the element of surprise!

Why, Penny, those are nice, uh...recipes for cake! Harmless and delicious.

[She grins a bit tightly. How's she supposed to communicate to Penny to be careful with her plans?]

I've never heard of it. It can't be that much of a classic.

NO ITS THE HYPEST. IT-

[Then he just gives up and leans against the entryway.]

I dunno kid, isn't there any memes you like?

[It's not unusual for Gandhi to sleep in until like... noon. With no adult supervision or schedule to keep, he's completely given up all pretense of being a functioning human being. Today is no different, except that when he finally emerges from his room, he's covered head to toe in some kind of apparatus made out of pillows, potholders stolen from the cafeteria, and duct tape. So much duct tape. The bizarre suit of armor is so bulky that he has to waddle awkwardly where ever he goes, and he sort of... bounces harmlessly off of anyone he runs into.]

Sweet! It's working! No accidental murder for me!

[There's practically a loud SKRONK when Centipeedle discovers the art room. This is exactly what she needed! She's almost ready to give a thanks to King Dice, but nah. Naaaaah. Instead she gets to work drawing on pieces of paper, starting with her focusing on something more colorful.

She's later leaving Public School: the Ride, more confused about public school than she was leaving. And fidgeting with the 3-D glasses, trying to get both over her singular eyeball. BIASED.]

[As Centipeedle leaves the ride, she'll see an unfamiliar figure watching her from the back of the school.]

[While Kubo is in the music room, he will start to hear footprints coming from the hallway.]

[Kubo squints at the question at first, but then genuinely thinks it over and shrugs after a moment of consideration.]

...Maybe? I'm not sure I know what a meme is.

[Wow that's weird, that person definitely didn't get on the bus with them. She's starting to feel defensive.

The gem begins pacing them like a wary spider, clicking to see if it gets their attention.]
