[Wander has reeled back from this execution faster than Mulan's. This murder wasn't an accident, but it was still terrible all around, and it wouldn't have happened under normal circumstances. Knowing that Tadashi planned this out made it...a bit better, but it still made something awful eat at his stomach.

Speaking of which, everyone needed to eat something light today. Right after the trial, he heads to the kitchen and prepares twenty bowls of fruit salad and mixes together ingredients for chocolate chip cookies. While they're cooling off, he slides a note under everyone's rooms.]



There's fruit in the lounge, cookies coming soon. We should stick together, especially after this.

Thanks. Y'know, Wander, this whole situation is messed up, but...

[That's the right thing to say. For all Wander had been unable to do to help Mulan, to stop Anna, to talk to Tadashi, the people who remained would not be the same had he stayed in his room every day. If reaching out, even just for a few minutes, can get this reaction, he might be able to improve moral.]

I can say the same. Y'all are wonderful folks, and I wouldn't have met you if it weren't for this. There's a positive in just about anythin'.

[It certainly helps, that much is true. But there's more to it than that.]

We're not... all that great.

But you manage to stay so positive. It helps.

It took me some time to learn that lookin' on the brighter side, but you have the potential to do that as well. When you travel long enough, you start seein' how gettin' gloomy fixes nothin', but reachin' out to others creates the strongest force in the universe. Stronger than a death ray, stronger than lava, stronger than any army of hate.

...It just takes time and effort, that's all.

Maybe. It sounds hard. Especially here. Where you can't really travel.

But it gets us all in the same place and get to know each other. And what's better that a group of folks that trust each other?
