[Wander has reeled back from this execution faster than Mulan's. This murder wasn't an accident, but it was still terrible all around, and it wouldn't have happened under normal circumstances. Knowing that Tadashi planned this out made it...a bit better, but it still made something awful eat at his stomach.

Speaking of which, everyone needed to eat something light today. Right after the trial, he heads to the kitchen and prepares twenty bowls of fruit salad and mixes together ingredients for chocolate chip cookies. While they're cooling off, he slides a note under everyone's rooms.]



There's fruit in the lounge, cookies coming soon. We should stick together, especially after this.

[ She smiles a little. ]

He did drink all that milk so fast.

Yeah. A lot of that might be fur though. [She runs a hand through Mochi's fur to show how thick it is.]

[ She mirrors her action, and she laughs the tiniest, quietest bit. ]

I know, right? At least that makes him a good choice for petting.

And he must be very nice to hug.

He is. [A pause] Do you want to hug him?

[ She definitely does. Naminé nods. ]

Do you mind if I do?

[pardonmylanguage]

Not at all. I don't think he minds either. [Mochi, indeed, does not protest as Tip moves him over to Namine's lap.]

[ She looks absolutely over the moon as Mochi's moved. Gently, she lifts the big cat up and gives him a very gentle hug. ]

Oh, wow... He's wonderful to hug.

[pardonmylanguage]

I know. [She scratches the cat's head as she speaks.] With him and Wander's chicken, we've got the start of our own petting zoo.

[ She hugs him a little longer before setting him down... but not before placing a quick kiss on his nose. ]

Oh, but I hope that if there are more aninals in that machine, they'll be alright.

Yeah...he doesn't seem traumatized, at least. [She decides not to mention the dead zebra.]
