[Another week has passed by and thank goodness no more ghosts have killed any of you (yet). But almost as soon as you leave your bed room you realize something is off. Something is frightfully off this morning, it seems.

[Lea feels empty, but that's no excuse to not help Lefou. He threw a knife in the toaster and he's got to get it before it gets cold or the man bleeds out.

That doesn't mean he can't look around while he waits for it to heat up, though. He's here early, at least in part because he's not able to stay anywhere near the study right now.

Does anything stand out?]

[At first glance it seems like everything is just as it was last night. No blood or weird items seem to be out here at all.]

[And if he starts to open drawers just to slam them, does he see anything suspect?]

[Huh, a lot of knives sure are missing from the drawers.]

[Well, one's in the toaster.

But that IS weird. He'll poke around the other drawers, even the fridge, looking for the missing knives.]

[You won't find them in here, in any case.

However there sure does seem to be a lot of food missing from the fridge, as well.]

[If the food's missing, it must have been taken out today. Or the fridge has stopped restocking and they're all going to starve. Either or.

He feels like there's gotta be more to this. To the cupboards!]

[Well some more food seems to be missing from the fridge, it seems.]

[Food's not usually a murder weapon, but knives are. He's a little confused by the missing food, but he keeps looking around. Sink, cabinets, even the oven. He'll keep poking around until the knife is hot, resetting the toaster as needed. Hopefully the handle doesn't light...]

[Well there is a knife sharpening stone laying out.]

[Does it show signs of recent use, like since it was last wet? Scratches or the like? Or is it impossible to tell?]

[It does appear to have been used relatively recently.]
