[Another week has passed by and thank goodness no more ghosts have killed any of you (yet). But almost as soon as you leave your bed room you realize something is off. Something is frightfully off this morning, it seems.

[Well the first thing that's obvious is (minus the blood) that Wander is very clearly hugging Sylvia's neck.]

[Oh Wander.

He tries to lift up his arms for a sec to see beneath it but, at his strength, its not gonna cut it.]

...Anyone want to help, uh. Remove these two? We need to see the damage.

[Kiara looks up from being a sad puddle on the floor.]

Why?

Wander's- the body is blocking... the other one.

We have to find out what killed them. Okay? [He's trying to sound calm and rational. He's the conscience. He has to be reasonable 100% of the time.]

[capulion]

He's tiny, what could he possibly be blocking?

[Despair is setting in with this one.

But she does drag herself up and over to look at them again.]

[Which body do you want to look over first, Kiara?]

[NEITHER.

Sylvia's is a little less hard to look at, so that one.]

[First of all there are two large gashes in her body, one in the stomach area and one in her chest.]

[Oh dear god why.

What do they look like they were caused by?]

[They look like stab wounds.]

[capulion]

[Of course they do. And of course this lion from Africa recognizes a stab wound now, after being in this forsaken haunted house. Thanks for that.

She growls softly to show her displeasure.

Is there anything else on her body?

[Her eyes are lidded and it appears that she was crying at some point, shortly before her death.

And I don't know how well Kiara knows Sylvia, but there sure is a lack of defensive wounds on Sylvia.]

[She knows crying with she sees it! Oh boy... Wander is clinging to her, but is she clinging back to him at all?

She might not know Sylvia well enough for that to ping her, but it does strike her as a little odd. Someone else will probably pick up on that.]

[She isn't clinging to Wander, in fact her hands are limp.]

[Ok now that doesn't flow. They were like, lifelong companions right? Best friends? Why was she crying, and Wander holding her, if she wasn't holding him back?]

They were best friends, weren't they?

[It's partly to Jiminy and partly just musing aloud. Is there anything around them? On the ground?]

[There is a trail of blood leading from the wall to where Wander is lying.]

The closest. She, uh... She once told me- I didn't believe her at the time but-

She told me her galaxy was being destroyed. And she worried about Wander finding out.

She really didn't want him to worry.

[With Kiara looking over Sylvia, Jiminy will focus on Wander. He recalls there being a gash on his stomach?]

[There is. And unlike Sylvia, Wander has only one stab wound.]

[Huh. If Wander was hugging Sylvia, then she maybe she was attacked first? Otherwise, it might be the other way around.

He checks Wander's arms again and glances around the room, looking for signs of a struggle.]

[There were no signs of a struggle on Wander's end either.]

[Jiminy's never watched CSI, but he feels like that's strange somehow. Then again, Wander didn't seem like the fighting type.

Anything else of interest on Wander's body, besides the lack of hat?]

[Well if Jiminy is willing to touch Wander's body, he would notice that he also has some fractured ribs.]

[Given that he's hopping around on a corpse, he might be able to gauge that with his feet, honestly.

He frowns, bouncing his legs slightly to test it before realizing what he's doing. He straightens his jacket, hoping no one saw that, before leaning down to examine the area around the ribs. Any sign of bruising, he wonders....]

[Fucking rude, Jiminy.

I suppose there would be appropriate bruising given someone with broken ribs would have.]
