Third Investigation

[Another week has passed by and thank goodness no more ghosts have killed any of you (yet). But almost as soon as you leave your bed room you realize something is off. Something is frightfully off this morning, it seems.

Investigate?]

[She almost wants to smirk. Yup, this is sad. So sad that the hat is frowning.

She holds onto the hat as she notices something beside it? If this is another body, she's gonna lose her mind.]

[It's the Ghost Host GH is dead- nah we're not that cruel.

But it appears to be a smartphone.]

[Silly mods, we already knew that!

But this... huh. Out of everything she would have suspected to see at the crime scene, this was, ironically, not one of them. And this time, it's even something that she knows.

She picks it up, of course, and like any teen she tries to turn it on. Maybe it can work? They can be lucky sometimes, right?]

[It turns on, and actually has a charge.]

[COOL. just about the best thing to happen to her today. It's all downhill from here.

She flips it open to the main screen, looking for any signs of who this phone may have belonged to.]

[Well there's the photo app. That might be a good clue right there.]

[GOOD IDEA, VOICE FROM BEYOND

Wendy brings that up.]

[It appears to be Wander's phone. There are a lot of selfies of him in dresses and him and Sylvia at the ball this week (including Sylvia punching a sandwich for some reason).

And... some recent looking photos of them in the graveyard?]

[...She has to smile a bit. Seeing Wander and Sylvia clearly having fun at the ball almost eases the pain of being in the same room as their bodies.

...Hmm. The graveyard? She flips through some of these photos, inspecting them closely.]

[The photos are of them hanging out in the graveyard, they both seem pretty happy in the photo set.

And the final one is a selfie of the both of them with a view of mansion, including the conservatory window.

And, while the room is very dimly lit, there is a humanoid figured standing behind the window.]

[Just as Wendy was starting to assume that the photos were going to be a melancholy find, it had to throw that at her.

Despite the size of it, she notices the figure in the window fairly quickly. She peers at it, really, really closely, trying to make out any features.]

[It's really hard to make out, and the only decent description of the figure, besides behind humanoid, is that it's a blob of some sort.]

[And she thought these phones were supposed to be higher tech then her's. well... it's... something. It means the murder might have been planned after all.

For now, she pockets Wander's phone, grabbing his hat too. Maybe there's something else around here she can focus on that isn't the bodies of her friends.]

[As Wendy looks around some more, she should notice a small bottle that's been haphazardly tossed into the corner of the room.]

Huh...?

[Everything just makes its way to the corners of a room, doesn't it?

But she notices it, and she hurries over, crouching to pick up the bottle and inspect it.]

[It's very small, to small to really hold a proper drink in.

It's also red-tinted.]

[...

Does the red look like blood?]

[It does.]

Huh...

[THAT's. Fine. It means this is evidence. That it will help.

She actually gives a quick check to see if there's anything at all inside the bottle.]

[Maybe a droplet or two of blood, but that's it.]

[Alright. That's neat. Cool beans.

For now, Wendy drops the bottle into Wander's hat, and takes it with her. Probably important and all that.]
