[Another week has passed by and thank goodness no more ghosts have killed any of you (yet). But almost as soon as you leave your bed room you realize something is off. Something is frightfully off this morning, it seems.

Don't disrespect his memory like this. [This is kind of a weird conversation to have while you're holding a blanket full of knives but.] Please. We have to . . . we have to figure out what happened.

[She puts her foot down slowly.]

I'm not good at playing detective.

I'm not either, but . . . we have to try, Star. For everyone's sake.

It's just gonna end up with somebody else dying, ya know.

I know. But would you rather we all die instead? We . . . [Julia looks far away for a moment, before snapping back to the moment.] We have to live for them.

[ilovepuppies]

[Everybody keeps telling her that and yet people keep dying. But now that she's not actively kicking things, she's suddenly very tired.]

Living is the hardest thing anyone can do. [Julia sets the blanket full of bloody knives down to pat Star's shoulder.] You have to work hard at it, even when everything seems terrible, because it's the only way to move forward.
