[It's been a very long, and very upsetting morning, and honestly, Ford is feeling goddamn drained. All the events of the day have hit him like a ton of bricks. And as much as he wants nothing more than to sleep for about a week...well. There's work to do.

After talking it over with Fiddleford, his first mission is hitting the kitchen and scraping together all the eggs, potatoes, and onions he can find. It takes him a good few hours, but eventually he's got five big casserole dishes full of kugel, steaming hot, fresh out of the oven. He stacks up a big pile of plates, forks, and serving utensils and carries it all into the lounge in trips.

Next is the business of the still. Between the two of them, the two Fords manage to get it into the lounge and set it up on a table where it's easy to access. Ford also pilfers a big glass jug of apple juice for the kids and puts it nearby. All the adults are free to partake of a cup of Fiddleford's sugar shine. They'll be needing it, tonight.

Lastly, are the notes. Ford writes them all out in his neat, block lettering, and slips one under each door—pausing at the doors of the deceased with a sad frown each time.

The lounge is quiet while they wait for everyone to arrive, save for the sounds of banjo music....

[ Don't worry, Elsa, she'll start thinking too much and then come to that conclusion herself! It's fine. ]

We just... I hope sticking together will help. [ She's quiet, then she looks at Elsa. ] Friends... do that. So, um... if it's okay, I'd like to stick together with you, too.

[Before her time in the mansion, hearing someone other than her sister say that probably would have thrilled her. But after everything that's happened, after all the death tearing her apart over and over again, and Elsa beating herself down... she appreciates it, but it doesn't hit her as hard as it would have back then.]

Of course. After everything that's happened... there's no way I can stop looking out for everyone here.

[She may be pretty dead inside but she still cares???]

[ Ah... ]

Elsa... you're very kind.

[ That sort of kindness... it's the type even a place like this can't break, Naminé thinks. Sora's the same way. Even after all he's been through, he still genuinely cares.

She thinks, maybe, Sora and Elsa would get along extremely well. ]

[Aw look, you're making her blush just a lil. It's not exactly a smile, but just as good.]

It's because all of you are so kind to me. There's no way I couldn't return that kindness.

[ Aw, Elsa. Naminé gives her a little smile. ]

I feel the same way. Even when I'd been just a stranger to everyone, they were so nice... I didn't expect it at all.

It's a little overwhelming, isn't it?

[That had been one of the good things about being stuck here. Everyone was so kind... it made their time here bearable.]

Not in a bad way, no. But it's something I'm still not quite used to.

A little bit, [ she admits, lacing her fingers together. Despite her thinking too much about certain things, if it weren't for the people she's gotten so close to, she thinks she'd be much worse off. ]

I think... sometime, I'd like to do something for everyone. To thank them for everything they've done. I'm just not sure what, exactly.

[She understands that. It's why she made the skating rink, before things got really bad. It's why she makes ice sculptures for the dead.]

That would be a good idea, something I'm sure everyone will appreciate. If you think you might need my help... I'd be happy to lend it.

[ That sounds... lovely, actually. Making something with Elsa... ]

I think, together, we could make something wonderful.

Of course. What's the point in having magic like mine if I can't use it to help people?

[More darker-minded people might think it's a useful weapon, but... Elsa's been through too much when it comes to hurting people with her magic. She can't ever do anything like that ever again.]

After everything we've been through... you and the others deserve something nice to take your minds off of the mess we're in.

Well... you deserve something nice, too.

[ Actually, lots of nice things. Far as she's concerned, Elsa especially. She's only just learning what a family feels like, and... if she lost Lefou, or Ford, or Maui, she knows she wouldn't handle it well at all.

Elsa's strong, isn't she? That's what Naminé thinks. ]

[She's not. Not at all. She may be able to hide how she's feeling, but that's not being strong; that's just faking it. She's a mess inside, has been since Anna was killed, and she really doesn't believe Namine at all when she says she deserves something nice. So she'll just...]

Let's, ah.... let's focus on the others first, shall we?

[Completely refuse that idea. Sorry, Namine.]

[ She gets it, too. Naminé doesn't think she deserves anything nice, either. What a pair they make. ]

Okay. Maybe... I'll make a list of ideas.

[Does anyone in this place have any self esteem at all, really?]

Whatever we do... should we do it in the ballroom? It might give us more space to work with than the lounge or the foyer.

Oh, I think that would be perfect. Maybe... ah, we could do something like a festival? With different games? And food?

A festival? My, that's ambitious...

[And... a bit too cheery a project. She wants to help, sure, but there have been a lot of limits she's been discovering with her magic lately, and with the cloud of apathy hanging low around her for the past couple of weeks, it's... hard to really conjure anything fun right now.

Ah, but speaking of limits...]

However, I'm not sure if I'd be able to do fair games, if you want something big. My magic seems to have... some limits, in this mansion.
