WEEK 5

[Wander and Sylvia are dead, the Ghost Host was snuffed out like a light, and Tarzan is nowhere to be seen. It seems like in an instant everything is changed, not just the circumstances, but the mansion itself. It feels like it's gotten significantly colder in the mansion, and you might also start seeing bugs out of the corner of you eyes, darting away into darkness the moment you try to focus on them.

And, starting this week, any and all ghosts are eerily absent but at the same time, no matter where you go, you feel like you're being watched by something. To make matters worse, the attic doors have been nailed open. 

But there are some bright spots in this week. When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find that you have a brand new tuxedo hanging up on your bedroom door, in your exact size. Later, if you're curious enough to try going from the second floor to the attic, you'll find that there's a whole new floor to explore, but this time it's just comprised of two rooms: a smallish but serviceable laundry room and an expansive casino with an attached bar.

Don't tell Jiminy about this he will have a heart attack.

Feel free to explore, but maybe you want to keep away from the Stretching Room for awhile. Somebody cut the noose on the hanging corpse.

[Maui looked at the diary, shrugged, then plucked it up and handed it to Anna. He leaned forward with his arm, however, eyes wide and curious, hoping for some sort of information from the girl.]

Still can't read all that well. What's supposed to be in it?

It's a diary. It's, um, a collection of someone's thoughts.

[She flicks open the cover and--yep, that's Marnie's name alright like she thought.] I thought it looked familiar, that's all.

Was it? [He paused, blinked once, then leaned a bit closer.] Familiar, I mean.

Yeah. This name--Marnie. This is a friend of mine's diary.

I see. [Maui's smile turned a little devious.] You gonna read it?

I've read a little of it before.

[Hey, it's not peaking if it's a dear friend!]

So you're a snoop then, huh? [Sorry, Anna, but you're getting a wink.]

I just wanted to know if it really hers. [Oh jeeze.]

You know, it could be someone trying to trick you by writing her name in it. You should read all her dirty secrets, just to be sure.

I can't just read all of it! [Even if she. Kind of has.] Besides, a lot of the pages in the back are missing.

Uh... Says who? I'm not gonna tell anyone. And sure, you miss a few pages, but who cares. What if there's something awesome to be found in there.

...I might have read most of it already. [Oops.]

Ooooooh. [Maui's brows lifted, threatening to touch his hairline, while Mini-Maui covered his mouth and winked conspiratorially.]

Shame on you, Anna. Snooping in other people's business.

It...it was really weird! This dairy is pretty old but it was as if I already knew what was in it!
