WEEK 5

[Wander and Sylvia are dead, the Ghost Host was snuffed out like a light, and Tarzan is nowhere to be seen. It seems like in an instant everything is changed, not just the circumstances, but the mansion itself. It feels like it's gotten significantly colder in the mansion, and you might also start seeing bugs out of the corner of you eyes, darting away into darkness the moment you try to focus on them.

And, starting this week, any and all ghosts are eerily absent but at the same time, no matter where you go, you feel like you're being watched by something. To make matters worse, the attic doors have been nailed open. 

But there are some bright spots in this week. When you wake up on Sunday, you'll find that you have a brand new tuxedo hanging up on your bedroom door, in your exact size. Later, if you're curious enough to try going from the second floor to the attic, you'll find that there's a whole new floor to explore, but this time it's just comprised of two rooms: a smallish but serviceable laundry room and an expansive casino with an attached bar.

Don't tell Jiminy about this he will have a heart attack.

Feel free to explore, but maybe you want to keep away from the Stretching Room for awhile. Somebody cut the noose on the hanging corpse.

[ She smiles a little. Naminé gets the impression they think the same way. ]

Do you mind if I look at what you've drawn?

Oh, uh, of course.

[She holds out the sheets of paper. Looks like she took a bunch of paper from the study for it.]

[ She takes them carefully, looking at them. ]

Oh, wow... these are wonderful.

I like yours, too.

[Anna is blushing quite a lot now, though.]

Th-thank you.

[ It's okay, she's blushing at the compliment, too. Naminé hands the papers back. ]

If you don't usually draw people, what do you draw?

Buildings, landscapes--I mean, I do draw people usually in them but I don't normally do portraits.

[They're both blushing. Somewhere, the old men are having heart attacks.]

[ It's fine, this is pure. ]

I don't usually draw buildings or landscapes... and when I do, it's not the best work I can do. [ She smiles a little. ] I prefer drawing people.

Really? [She gives a small laugh.] We're a match. This place actually isn't a bad place to practice drawing buildings.

Mm, you're right. I think I'll start practicing.

It's a good place to practice drawing people, too.

And lions.

[She can't help but add that with a giggle.]

[chainbroke]

[ She laughs a little, too. ]

And crickets and robots.

WALL-E isn't so hard to draw. [A box!] Crickets, though... How can I get Jiminy to sit still?

Hmm... I'm not sure. He's always so high-strung... Maybe ask him very, very nicely?

Do you think he'd pose for us?

[chainbroke]

I think he would. It's worth asking.

[ jiminy cricket has kind of a big head ]

We'd have to get pretty close to draw him, though. It still might be worth asking.

[Wait.]

Do you think we could find one of those masks again?

[chainbroke]

[ ... Right, those creepy masks. ]

Maybe... They're a bit unnerving, though, aren't they?

They are but... they kind of looked like him, didn't they?

[chainbroke]

They did.

So... maybe we should look for one?

[outsidethecircle]

Maybe that wouldn't be a bad idea.

[chainbroke]

Mm, where should we look first?

[outsidethecircle]

Hmm...maybe the ball room? Maybe there will be some left!

[chainbroke]

I think that'll be our best choice, [ she says, gesturing for Anna to follow. ]
