[If there's one thing Julia's good at, it's feeling guilty. Once they're let out of the awful stretching room, she sets up in the kitchen and makes another cake. It's the same sort of coffee cake she made for Lea's wake, but this time it's got apples over top. While it's going, Julia writes notes for everyone except Elsa.]

I made cake and coffee. It's in the lounge, if you'd like to come by and not be alone.

... It was. [ She looks down. ] I'd had a feeling from the beginning, but... I'd hoped I was wrong.

... I wish he had listened to me.

[It's hard not to, isn't it? Wendy feels about as apprehensive about talking about it as Namine does.]

You and me both, and probably everyone else here.

[...She reaches out, letting her hand rest on Namine's shoulder as she gives her a concerned look.] Hey, if you need to talk about it, I'm good for that.

[ She looks up at Wendy, frowning a little. ]

Are you sure?

Yeah, girl. It's what I do, listen to other people's troubles.

[It helps to give other people advice when she doesn't have to get it herself.]

[ But... ]

But, Wendy... what about your troubles?

What? [It seems like Namine cut off Wendy's thought process. She stares at her for a moment.]

Pfff, hey, look at me. I don't have any problems. I've bee... pretty cool for most of the time here.

[Rubs the bracelet on her wrist. If Namine was an ace attorney, this would be a good nervous tell.]

I'm fine, really.

[chainbroke]

Alright... Well... if you'd ever like to talk... I can listen. I'm good at that, too.

[ She's just worried about you, Wendy. ]

[....She chuckles.]

Come on. What's with that look in your eye? [Like she doesn't already know.]

I'm fine, I promise. I'm more worried about you.

If... you're sure.

[ Because Naminé certainly is not. She hesitates, though. ]

I think it would be good to talk, but... I don't know where to begin. There's so much.

Well.... Start from the beginning then. Of whatever you want to talk about.

[Gestures.] I think we've definitely got time on our hands.

[And she's still got booze in her cup.]

[ Okay. This is fine. Naminé takes a breath. Currently, she's three for three on people understanding... And Wendy's always been there to help her out. So, it should be okay. ]

Well... Demyx, Lea, and I... we were all from the same world. Or... mm, I think it would be more appropriate to call it a system of worlds.

Demyx and I had never really met, though, before here. I'd heard of him, but... I knew Lea. Or, I knew who Lea would become. Demyx did, too.

[Wendy's a cool girl. She's good for anything you got to say, Namine. You'e heard thinks about her life, haven't you?]

Okay... So, you're kind of like a world-hopping human, and there's sort of the implication here that there's time travel involved.

[Wendy no, that's not.] That's... pretty awesome, honestly. Is the world thing anything like Wander and Sylvia's deal?

[ Ohhh boy, Wendy, you tried. ]

Well... mm, I don't think so. There are usually barriers between worlds, and usually, people can't travel between them. But... with the Heartless around, those barriers sort of went away. And without special clothing or a ship, it's dangerous to travel through the corridors between worlds.
