there's so much that we share

[If there's one thing Julia's good at, it's feeling guilty. Once they're let out of the awful stretching room, she sets up in the kitchen and makes another cake. It's the same sort of coffee cake she made for Lea's wake, but this time it's got apples over top. While it's going, Julia writes notes for everyone except Elsa.]

I made cake and coffee. It's in the lounge, if you'd like to come by and not be alone.

Oh, I think you'll be just fine.

[ She has faith in him, after all. More and more... she's starting to have faith in everyone here. ]

Really? There isn't a school in your village?

There is, but, well. The headmaster isn't exactly a nurturing kind of guy, and if you can't keep up with the rest of the boys you get left behind pretty quick.

There's not much to read outside of road signs, anyway.

[ That's sad. Naminé hadn't exactly had an education, but she had Kairi's memories and, occasionally, Axel left her books to read. Fairy tales, mostly. She'd had to hide them, but it had been worth the risk. ]

It seems like a shame... I didn't ever read many books, or when I did, it wasn't very often. I can't imagine a place without many of them.

[At that, he smiles.]

You know, that sounds like something this girl from the village would say. She always had her nose deep in a book, which was considered pretty... Odd.

[ She blinks. ]

Really? I don't think that's very odd, but... I think I understand why the other villagers would, from what you've just told me.

What is she like?

She's... Honestly, way too smart for the rest of us. Her father Maurice is an artist, he makes these tiny, intricate music boxes. I've seen one a couple of times, and felt like I was going to break it just by looking at it.

She's well-read, kind, and beautiful. Also stubborn. She rode into a castle in her chemise and stays just to save the be-- Uh, the prince.

Wow... It sounds like she's one of your friends, from how highly you speak of her. She sounds like an incredible person.

[ The admiration's way obvious in her voice. She'd like to meet her, especially if she's one of Lefou's friends. ]

What is her name?

She...wasn't always, but she's been more kind to me than I deserved.

[For one, she forgave him enough for being Gaston's right hand that she invited him to her wedding]

Her name is Belle. Pretty appropriate, huh?

Yeah, it...means "Beauty."

... My friend, Sora... he helped save a young woman named Belle. He fought with Beast, when Belle had been kidnapped and taken to a different world.

When Sora first met her, she was wearing a yellow dress, and she has brown hair, and she spent a lot of time in Hollow Bastion's library. Does that sound like your Belle?

I've... Never heard of Hollow Bastion before, but if there's a library I'd say you'd find Belle there.

You know, now that I think of it, why did nobody ask where that dress came from?

She seemed so kind... I understand why you like her so much, Lefou.

[ ..... ]

[ Honestly, she doesn't know a lot about Belle's history, but she nods all the same. She believes Lefou. ]

A wedding... Oh, was it Belle's and the prince's?

Yeah, it was. It was a beautiful event, and there was a lot of dancing.

[Also a lot of wine.]

It was like... something out of a fairy tale.

That sounds amazing. They must have been so happy, too.

They were. You could really see it on their faces.

Anyway, um. Shall we dance?

[ She wonders if she'll ever get to go to a wedding. Maybe... if they all leave this place, maybe she'll get to see the people she cares most about get married.

But that's in the future. And that's a huge "if." ]

Oh! Yes. I'm sorry for distracting you.

[By now they have to start the song over again, which Lefou does and then comes back to take her hand.

He takes it slow to match the song, raising their arms to let her turn, and then turning himself.]

When we get out of here, I'll take you to come visit my home. Belle and her father would love to meet you. And maybe Belle and His Highness will remember Sora, too.

[ She follows him, and she's actually not too bad. ]

That would be wonderful. I'd like to meet Belle and Maurice and the prince for myself.

[ She pauses. ]

And maybe it would be okay with Sora, Kairi, and Riku if we went to Destiny Islands. It's so beautiful there, I think you would love it.

[He's so proud of her! He takes her other hand and spins with her under their raised arms.]

Even the name sounds beautiful. There's so many places out there that I could have spent my whole life in Villeneuve and never even heard of.

[ She lets out a quiet laugh as they spin together. ]

It's small, but it's one of the most amazing places I've seen... but only through Sora's memories. I've never actually been there myself.

[ ... which reminds her. ]

I... actually have something from there, that I'd like to give you and Maui.
