Mock Victim
[It’s Friday. Your first week stuck in Doomville is almost up. While Judge Doom’s motive was certainly big, it’s hard to judge, for lack of a better term, if he could manage to change anyone’s past, let alone your own. So maybe you forgot about it, or maybe you’re so caught up with the “what if’s” that it hangs over you as you wake up today.
However, as you leave your dressing room, you may find that the door to Edgar’s Room is mysteriously ajar. While it was open for investigation yesterday, it seems more open than it was yesterday.
Investigate?]

But however bad Elsa is taking this, she'll never be too absorbed in herself to ignore her sister. So she follows close behind Anna as her sister goes off, keeping her attention half on her sister and half on the costumes; running her hands over each one, trying to see if there are any marks or damages on any of the clothes still on the racks.]
... Do you think we can do this, Anna? Solve a... a murder investigation?
I sure did just notice this
no subject
She'll start with the ones on the rack first, pulling them out to examine them more closely. She'll also be checking to see if there any similarities between all the wrinkled clothes. A similar theme, maybe...?]

Also, are there any missing clothes?]
no subject
There is a very small suit tucked away near the back of the room, however.]

Is there anything else off about the suit? Or any of the other clothes, aside from what she's already seen?]

Your m-- Elsa. You -- you holdin' up alright? Find anythin'?
[He looks like he got hit by a truck so they probably feel about the same right now.]

[Elsa's not one to just. Dump all her emotions out right away without a fight. But after what happened yesterday, after this... there's no point in hiding it. She'd look like an even worse person if she tried to say that she wasn't affected by all of this.]
I found several wrinkled clothes, and a bit of a mess... and this. [Ever so carefully, like she was worried she'd ruin the evidence just by touching it, she picks up the small suit, showing off the tag attached to it.] Does this seem familiar at all?
no subject
Yes. I think -- hold on.
[His brain's not working at full capacity exactly but something about this has pinged it. Looking very hard at the little suit he reaches into his own coat and pulls out a folded piece of paper, one of the ones he took from the office desk. On it is a creepy little animal.]
PPP. Right?
no subject
What is that?
no subject
we have to now, don't we? If there's a chance we get out....
[She doesn't like thinking like that. But then again, she saw a man get dissolved and now another was dead.
Hadn't anyone realized that old man's death was horrible enough?]
no subject
[What if they're forced to do this again...]
Is there really any point to this?
no subject
I don't think there is a point.
[He...did he really think they had committed crimes? Or was that also part of his horrible scheme? Just a lie to make them want to get out more?
Did...he enjoy this?]
...Elsa. We...I know this is...he's not going to let us go. He said so. Not unless we kill someone. Or unless we find another way.
...
[She goes over, offering Elsa her hands. Knowing her sister is here, and alive...it helps. She also knows Elsa or her could die at any time, now.
Her jaw straightens.]
I won't give him the satisfaction he wants. No matter what happens or what he tries, even if its...the worst thing ever. I'm not going to do it. I can't. None of us can.
no subject
But all of that goes away with Anna. Anna trusts her so much, to the point where Elsa just can't feel afraid of herself with her sister nearby. So she'll take Anna's hands without hesitation, squeezing them in what she hopes can be a gesture of comfort.]
I know you won't. You're the very last person I could ever imagine doing such a thing. [A pause, then she shakes her head.] No, I can't even imagine it. Not in a million years.
I just... what if we can't find a way out before he makes us do this again? I don't know if I can handle doing this again...
[She hadn't really spent any time with that odd little creature, but that doesn't mean she isn't torn up about what happens. The idea of this happening to one of the people she had been getting friendly with, or god forbid, Anna...
It sends a chill down her spine, one so bad not even her powers could replicate it.]
no subject
[Its the truth. If there's one thing that she and Elsa had agreed on, then on out from that day Love saved Arendelle, it was to be as open as possible. Open doors, open hearts. Open and honest words.
At the very least, also, Anna's hands are warm.]
But we'll have to, if it happens again. Somehow. I don't know how, but...somehow.
no subject
I wonder if there's a way to prevent it.... but what would we do? Keep an eye on everyone? I think that would just breed more paranoia and mistrust...
no subject
no subject
That might work for us, but I don't think we'd be able to get everyone else here to do it as well.
