[It’s Friday. Your first week stuck in Doomville is almost up. While Judge Doom’s motive was certainly big, it’s hard to judge, for lack of a better term, if he could manage to change anyone’s past, let alone your own. So maybe you forgot about it, or maybe you’re so caught up with the “what if’s” that it hangs over you as you wake up today.

However, as you leave your dressing room, you may find that the door to Edgar’s Room is mysteriously ajar. While it was open for investigation yesterday, it seems more open than it was yesterday.

I -- I'm not sure. They might be? My doctorate's not in biology.

[He only remembers about the spurs in the first place because it was impossible to be friends with Stanford Pines and not absorb some weird animal facts.]

So we might be able to just see who faints later, huh? I think I heard something about the poison actually being really painful... [Hey look, Australia was on the news for fighting back against the Gorg invasion with wildlife.] ...well, I guess actually checking his feet might be the fastest way to figure it out.

[He isn't sure he wants to examine the body of a teal, sentient platypus. He's in here specifically to avoid the body. He's too hungover for that.]

I haven't been in the room. Where the body is. Been lookin' around in here but I haven't found much as of yet.

Right -- right. Though with all this blood checkin' to see if there's any on the spurs might not help. Still. Couldn't hurt.

[Ugh. He already had a headache and as this whole ordeal goes on it's just getting worse.]

I... I reckon so, probably. Seems to be his go-to for dealin' with folks he considers lawbreakers. Never mind he drove them to it.

[His voice is heavy. He doesn't want to think about this but it's so hard to ignore something staring you right in the face. He has no real way to escape it, either, because he can't erase it away and alcohol only does so much. He's not built for this. He can't handle problems he can't fix.]
