[Another week has come and gone, and three more people are dead. Nearly half of the guests are dead in a little over a month. The ghosts are still not reacting, and with Demyx's execution one has to wonder if the ghosts are even here anymore.

In the very least one more floor has been opened up: the trophy room, a shooting gallery, and a bathing room.

... Maybe keep Kiara out of the trophy room.

But this happened a long time ago and had nothing to do with us. Why's he gotta drag us into his relationship drama?

I think it might actually have something to do with us. [She's not entirely sure, but.] Do you remember how, when we first arrived, Ghostave said he had reasons for wanting us here? I think this mansion is cursed, and something about us being here was supposed to break it.

[She hasn't gotten much farther than that, but now that she knows for certain these people were people and they're not demons or any other kind of spirit, she's realized that they . . . they probably just want to move on.]

There are WAY better ways to get rid of a curse than to lock a bunch of people in a house and make them kill each other.

But what can we do that spirits trapped for much longer than we've been can't?

....Well, we're human, for starters. Maybe that's got something to do with it?

[She's clutching at straws, so might as well go for the obvious?]

I think the only common thread between all of us is that those of us that remain are still living.

Well that stands to reason, doesn't it? Don't know how much this holds true here but where I'm from spirits are a lot less able to... well to do much of anythin' without the livin' around. You want a spirit to move on, someone still alive has to figure out how to make it happen.

[Usually it's stupid and complicated and it gets even more stupid and complicated the more evil and/or magical the spirit is but this is not his world and he can't expect the same rules here and oh boy he doesn't like that uncertainty, not one bit, no sir.]

And sometimes they just want awful things to happen to you for no reason.

But we've seen what the spirits here can do. They can move things, interact with the people here...

[They even have enough strength to... to kill humans. But she doesn't say that. ]

If they're capable of doing such things on their own, what do they need living people for?

I think us dying might have been part of breaking the curse. Like, if one of us died, then we could take the place of a spirit here and they could move on but if our friends are being held by this Hades person instead of being here . . .

[She doesn't know what happens. Do they just keep dying? Do they risk trying to talk to this new "Man" in an attempt to get out? THERE'S A LOT OF VARIABLES AND SHE'S JUST A PIANIST.]

There's 999 ghosts stuffed in this house! They were seriously gonna kill a thousand people to replace them!

[After Ghostave disappeared she was ALMOST getting sympathic towards them but you know what SCREW GHOSTS.]

I doubt Ghostave cared that much about all 999 ghosts. [He didn't even seem to like some of them.] But 20 or so of us? That's enough for the people who probably lived and worked here before the mansion was cursed.

That's still 20 more people who shouldn't die! Man, ghosts really ARE the worst!

I wouldn't say that. Ghostave was merely someone who was offered a chance to save himself by letting someone else do something awful and that's not really different from any of us. [Like, she doesn't actually like the ghosts, but she thinks that's a little harsh.] If you want to be angry, be angry at whoever is really behind this.

That was my thought too. There's some kind of curse on this house, I don't think any of us are goin' to argue against that at this point.

You remember what ... what the host said? Something about how there's nine-hundred ninety-nine but there's room for a thousand? Maybe hittin' a thousand's what's supposed to break the curse and because no one's actually stayed in the house after they die it just... they just keep tryin' to make it happen.

[Which is not a good way to approach that problem at all but he can't talk, his problem-solving skills are also illogical a lot of the time.]

I think that at least explains why Ghostave agreed to let this happen in his home. What it doesn't explain is who he was working for. [Their new host implies that this show runs to the end, whether or not the hosts themselves survive.] It's obvious the situation we're in goes beyond just this house, so even if we break the curse does that stop our situation?

[Wendy gives a shrug.] At least if we can somehow stop the ghosts from trying to get us all killed, we can focus on the rest of this mess.

[But now that she thinks about it, Ghostave was pretty quiet about just who he was working with.] Seems like this Hades guy is a part of it somehow, plus that guy who replaced Tarzan had to come from somewhere. There's gotta be more to all this.

This all seems so unreal. I mean, I haven't even seen a ghost since the last time we saw the host.

I saw the guy with the hatbox. I was trying to find Ghostave but he showed up instead and was even less helpful!

That's weird. I even yelled at the attic but I couldn't get an answer.

Well, being alive does have some advantages, I guess. Dunno how we could break a curse with it.
