[You've all been here for well over a month and it's getting harder and harder to keep spirits up. There has been small hope thanks to a mysterious person talking to you through your dreams. A small hope that maybe you'll be able to escape and get your friends back, but you'll have to escape first.

There are no new floors to explore, the outside area remains the same as it's always been. Might as well get comfy here.

[She scoffs a little, turning her head to look at the roaring fireplace.]

Yeah, I don't think even a conscience would know what to do now. [She slumps in the chair.] It feels like we're more stuck then ever now.

[He takes off his hat wearily.]

Sounds about right.

Still feels like we should be doing more.

Well, we tried. It just didn't bring anything good up. [She kicks her legs.] Haven't really seen any ghosts in a while, not to mention the motive for this week was kinda a total bust.

[It's her turn to take her hat off, which she does, and lets it flop onto the desk.]

[He snorts.]

After the last few, I'm not too particular. Least Boogie didn't release your triangle friend and the others for his own kicks.

Although maybe I shouldn't be giving him ideas. [Who knows what bugs are listening.]

We dunno if he even could. I'm pretty sure we wiped the triangle guy from existence or something. [That's at least what Ford tried to assure her.]

....That's really true. And, honestly, I don't know what the endgame of all this is.

Like... [She searches for the words, blowing hair out of her face.] We just go until either we're all dead, or someone manages to escape, right? That's the thing they told us at the start.

[She thinks.]

[He raises an eyebrow at that.] That big of a job? I'm almost jealous. [Which he shouldn't be but bad conscience, we've established this.

He spins his umbrella thoughtfully.] I was figuring some kind of cockfighting ring, myself. Which would mean... people would certainly get riled up if the murders stopped and the bets started rolling zeros.

Certainly fits with Boogie's MO at least.

Ehh, I wasn't even there for most of it. But it was still really cool. [Spoken like an annoyed teen. She's honestly very happy for her friends though.]

Definitely, that totally fits the whole casino thing he has going on. [...] But that doesn't explain the ghost that wanted Maui to kill the host, and even that host guy.

Trying to hedge their bets? Or stop the host from stopping their cheating? Does that work? I don't know if that works.

[Shrug??] I dunno. Sounded kind of like one of them just really didn't like the host.

Well, he was a bit disagreeable, but I would have assumed he'd have got along well with his friends...

[She just lets out this low groan, tugging at some of her hair, and basically just throwing up her hands.]

I don't know! Man! Geeze, it's just, there's so much we don't seem to know about all this. And we've been here for like, two months!
