[You've all been here for well over a month and it's getting harder and harder to keep spirits up. There has been small hope thanks to a mysterious person talking to you through your dreams. A small hope that maybe you'll be able to escape and get your friends back, but you'll have to escape first.

There are no new floors to explore, the outside area remains the same as it's always been. Might as well get comfy here.

[He looks at the drawing and recognizes the boy from the portrait that she'd showed him.]

I'm... I'm here. How about you? Hard at work with your drawing, I see.

[He gestures to her sketchbook with a smile.]

[ Is that a blush? Sure is. ]

Sort of. It's... been a while since I drew anyone not in this mansion. Not that it's a bad thing, though. I thought it was just time for something different.

You're very good at it.

[He shifts so he can nudge his shoulder lightly against hers.]

Were you drawing from memory, or did you use the portrait as reference?

[chainbroke]

Thank you. I still think I could always improve, though.

[ She laughs a little, and nudges his shoulder in turn. ]

The portrait. I could have drawn from memory, though. [ She flips to a page with Sora and Kairi. ] That's what I did, for them.

Oh, and who's-

[...wait a second.]

Who's this? More friends of yours?

[chainbroke]

[ Well, he might recognize Sora. You know. From Demyx's execution. ]

The boy is Sora. The girl is Kairi, my other half.

[YEAH... HE DOES...]

I remember you told me about Sora before. And Kairi, she's... the reason you want to go back home, isn't she?

[chainbroke]

[ It's... not much of a home. She knows by now that it's a sad thing, not being able to call any place a home. But... maybe she does have one. Not a place, but with the people she cares for here. Like Lefou. ]

She is. But... before I go to join her again, I promised Ford I would take some time for myself. I'd like to visit his home, and... maybe...

I could visit yours, too? If you wouldn't mind.

[toogoodforhim]

[He smiles at her, soft and warm, and reaches out to put his arm around her shoulders.]

I would love that. The only problem is... [His tone is light and teasing.] Well, once she meets you I don't know that Mrs. Potts will want to let you leave.

[chainbroke]

[ She leans against him, and... oh, no. If he says anything else like that, Naminé really won't want to go back to Kairi. It's selfish, horribly so, and it leaves an awful taste in her mouth.

... But her selfish thoughts are just that: thoughts. ]

[He rubs her shoulder.]

She's going to just love you, of course.

Mm, I hope so, since she's important to you.

I think Riku and the others would like you, too.

Yeah? You think so? I'd love to meet them, since they're so important to you.

[chainbroke]

I do. Sora and Kairi are more outgoing, and Riku is more thoughtful... I think Sora and Kairi might try to convince you to do a lot of silly things, though.

[toogoodforhim]

Mmm... You know, I think I could use some silly.

[He smooches the top of her head.]

[chainbroke]

[ She lets out a quiet laugh... then leans up to kiss his cheek. ]

I think we all could.

[toogoodforhim]

[His eyebrows shoot up at the little smooch, but then he chuckles and squeezes her close to his side.]

Well, then it sounds like I need to try harder to keep people's spirits up, hm?

[chainbroke]

[ Lefou's the first to get a smooch!! And, honestly... she isn't sure she'll tell him this, ever, but... if she could call anyone a dad, it would be him. ]

Well... I think you're doing wonderful.

It means a lot to hear you say that.
