You finally have a real ray of hope thanks to Mr. Walt, but even he claims that it will be a hard journey ahead. You all have to be strong, physically, emotionally, any kind of strength will work against what you're up against. Maybe take the next few days to rest before the long journey, or prepare for the dangers that await, the choice is yours, but...

We'll find them. With Maui down there now, I bet they'll meet us halfway.

[ It sort of... brings a little pang. Maui had done the same thing, after Wander and Sylvia had died.

But she pushes that down and focuses instead on how Maui had been a comfort. It's better to think about good things. ]

Mm, I'm sure he's giving Hades a piece of his mind. [ She pauses and thinks. ] Or a faceful of his fist.

[He manages a wet, sad chuckle.]

Probably the latter. Hades won't even know what hit him.

Mm... I don't know about that. Do you think Maui would've announced who he was, first?

In this case? [He thinks about how he didn't even hear Maui coming until Maui had yelled and kneecapped him with the oar.] I think he'll hit first, introduce himself after.

"Maui, Shapeshifter, Demigod of the Wind and Sea, Hero to All" is a mouthful for a pre-beatdown.

That's true... and Hades would have been able to get a few hits in, I think.

[ But honestly, Maui could take him easily. Hades is powerful, but Maui is stubborn and powerful, which is a combination even Hades couldn't overpower. ]

Hades is in for an even harder time, with Maui there.

[ She can imagine Star annoying him, too. ]

I don't think he knows what he's in for.

[He just has to keep telling himself that he'll see him again soon. That's all, just hold onto that thought with all his might.]

I don't think he's prepared for us to break in there to get them out, either.

[ She gives a little smile, and follows that up with a hug. ]

Mm, I agree. I don't think he knows exactly who all he's dealing with. With how determined and strong everyone is, it shouldn't be very difficult.

[He hugs her close and gives her a tight squeeze.

He has so much uncertainty. He doesn't like that their fates are in the hands of a God that he's seen face to face, even though Walt had oozed paternal compassion, and it reminded him of the gentle but resolute Pere Robert.

But the way she asks him "Right?" is so unsure, and he can't put his doubts on her. He's her Papa.]

Right. They're fighting their way to us right now. We just have to get out of here so we can fight our way to them.
