WEEK 8
[Two months. Two months of being trapped in this mansion. Two months of heartbreak and despair. Two months of wondering if you are all going to die here.
You finally have a real ray of hope thanks to Mr. Walt, but even he claims that it will be a hard journey ahead. You all have to be strong, physically, emotionally, any kind of strength will work against what you're up against. Maybe take the next few days to rest before the long journey, or prepare for the dangers that await, the choice is yours, but...
Will you be able to escape?
8 guests remain]
[ SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY ]
{OOC: Don't forget to read and respond to our endgame details/check in!}

It's wrong for a song so upbeat to put him so close to tears.
He stops when Julia comes near, looking from her to the papers she's holding.]
...I don't.
[But he takes them nonetheless when they're held out to him. Somehow it's easier to read his native language. But it's hard to read through the tears that well in his eyes.]
Julia...

I'd love that. Thank you.

That's... I want to learn that one by myself. [The recording is one of the last things he has to remember him by - as he was, not as a charred, smoking corpse in the floor - and it's more than he's ever had to remember a loss by. His own father had lived on only in his mother's stories; his mother he always held close to his heart, but even her face, her voice had been lost to him over the last sixteen years.]
But once we're out of here, I may need some accompaniment when I practice it.

[Seriously how have you not caught him dancing yet.]
Can you... Sing a little of this [he gestures gently with the music sheets] for me?

[She's not really a singer, much less an acapella one, and her voice isn't really warmed up but she does sing the first stanza. It's obvious her strengths lie in the sort of music you play on a piano - imagine something that sounds like Vaness Carlton should be singing it. That's basically what I'm trying to say.]

You have a gift for music, Julia.
Thank you again, for writing this. I can't wait to learn it.
