[Now that we've got that out of the way, it seems the participants are free to explore the manor at their leisure. The entire first floor is available to them at all times, and any attempts to maneuver outside or to a different floor will prove useless. Seems you're going to get very familiar with this area over the next week or so.

There may be something there that wasn't there before, namely, a set of rules posted next to the bios. Take heed of them, mortals. If you wish to have a private conversation with your Host, it's now entirely possible.

With all that in mind, exploring sounds like a good idea. Proceed with caution, mortals. There are no safety bars to be lowered here.]

[Well the chance to get food from Maui was more or less a bust. But as it seems that other's have some ideas of their own on food, it's time to check out what her friend's been cooking up.]

Hey! Karolina. What's happening over here?

[she eyes the food in process.]

Oh man, what's this?

Fajitas! Eventual fajitas. Right now it's just tempeh and vegetables and marinade.

[ She smiles. ]

I figured I might as well make something to have around. Can't exactly count on other people to make a bunch of vegan stuff, and no reason why they should have to.

Ooh, fajitas. Definitely want a bite of that since mister demiguy is too greedy to share.

[yes, she will throw shade Maui. Even though she Understands.]

Also, you're a vegan?

Yup! Born and raised. That's what happens when your parents are actors in Hollywood, I guess.

I only learned about the second part a little while ago. But they are on General Hospital. [ Or. Were. But we're ignoring that, it's way too recent. ] And things are usually pretty busy. Lots of... fundraisers.

My family's not much like that. Family of loggers and foresters, been that way since who knows how long.

Lots of soybean products prepared in expensive ways. True hardship.

That's not a terrible way to live, though. Nice and quiet in the forest?

Yeah, kind of. When you live with three brothers and a dad that's known as 'Manly Dan' Corduroy, quiet isn't exactly something you get often [haha... ha...] And don't even get me started on the logging camp, ugh.

Plus you've got all the weird creatures out in the forest.

Okay, yeah, as an only child I get how that could be... less quiet. I lived with two boys for a couple weeks and things were rough. And... complicated, but for other reasons.

Do you guys have a portal to somewhere else out there? I hear that happens.

Boys are complicated in general, T-B-H. Trust me, I know they can be the worst sometimes.

[A portal? ah..... She chuckles.] I mean, we kinda did? But it wasn't the cause of all the weirdness in town.

...At least, I think. I think you'd have to ask Mr. Pines about it. He's like, the dude that wanted to research all of the weirdness in the first place.

Honestly. I don't know how other girls do it.

[ Casually avoids mentioning supervillain parents and that she's not into dudes, aw yeah. ]

Oh yeah, Ford pines? And ol-wait, young Mcgucket? They're both from Gravity Falls, same as me.

It makes it... a little easier, I guess.

You know, the one who knows magic might have the most boy trouble of any girl I know. I think it's just a mystery.

[ Karolina turns back to the tempeh to stir it, sighing. ]

That's cool, though. I'm glad my friends aren't here, but at the same time I was already missing them when I got here.

Ouch... Sorry. At least for me I was already preparing to say goodbye to my friends.

Yup. They were on General Hospital for a while.

Never heard of it. TV in Gravity Falls sucks too. [she blows a hair out of her face.]

Trust me, public access TV blows.

Yeesh, I can imagine. Do you guys at least have a movie theater?

Of course we do. [they're not savages] My friends broke into it once.

...It was to see a movie, not anything serious.

Was it a good movie?

[ She's much less concerned with breaking and entering than she used to be, oops. ]

It got four thumbs up and a cloud of glitter. [Don't ask] So I think they liked it.
