[It's Friday the 13th, the deadline for taking the motive. Even the most optimistic guest would have noticed the tensions rising in the hotel. After all, The Narrator seemed pretty sure someone would die in this hotel. Still, there have been attempts to make sure morale remains high in this hotel, and maybe it all worked?

Nothing seems off on the bedroom floor. Perhaps the attempts to keep morale up worked after all?

[ And now... to touch a body, okay. If anyone's watching, Reyna has this kind of... detached air to her as she goes to investigate the wounds. She's... this is clearly not her first time seeing a dead kid, #demigodlife.

Anything immediately off? Or like. She's covered in blood, where'd all that blood come from? ]

[The shards of glass that's embedded in Vanellope's chest might have something to do with it.]

Okay if she very carefully tries to... grab a cloth of some kind and pull one of those out, is there anything to note about it? Color, size, etc? ]

[ Well, now that the investigation is good and done with, Thalia comes on over and will carefully turn Vanellope to her back once more. The expression on her face... Thalia shakes her head and then closes the girl's eyes.

From her pocket, she takes a coin, one she was going to use in the penny press. Her voice is gentle and almost sadly sweet. ]

This isn't a drachma, but it'll have to do. May it speed your travels, young one.

[ With care, she'll open Vanellope's mouth and place the coin inside, closing it again when she's done. ]

[ Reyna is quiet as she does, and indeed there's some quiet before she speaks up. ]

When this... trial, or whatever, is over, we should make food. We may not be able to burn the body, but we can give her a feast.
