[Five people died last week, but so far besides possibly The Narrator, no one else has died this week. Not to mention your new host seems pretty confident that no one will kill anyone, despite the motive. And hey, like last week nothing seems off… at least with the second floor.

He didn't actually know Belle as well as he knew some of the others here, but he knows she was too nice to deserve what happened to her. He was lucky enough to miss seeing the body this time (again), but he'll definitely do his part to help find who killed her.

Is there anything to be seen immediately around the room?]

[There's a tea set in the sink.]

[That's not very abnormal, he guesses, but you never know. Anything specific to note about this tea set?]

[The cups seemed to be stained black.]

[...Yeah, that's closer to what he was expecting from this place. He's gonna try and swipe a bit of the black substance onto his finger if he can to try and get a closer look-- does it look or smell like anything specific?]

[It smells like tea but it's unusually bitter.]

[Can... he... Very Carefully taste it without getting poisoned or something... does it taste distinctive enough to place the type of tea or the bitter flavor?]

[... I suppose Donald won't instantly die??? But yeah it still tastes pretty darn bitter, and not any kind of bitter flavor he would be familiar with. It seemed to have been slightly sweetened though.]

[he's disappointed

actually he's just instantly full of regret and is gonna go back to chugging his coffee, though he does make note to grab part of the set for the trial later as evidence.]

[As Donald goes on he should start feeling a little sick, not dying, but he will soon start feeling kind of weak, even with the coffee.]

[he's just gonna be passed out at the trial. it's fine.

but at least he has pretty concrete evidence of, y'know, how the tea is involved. that being said he's pretty sure he never wants to get involved in any of these investigations ever again]
