[Now that we've got that out of the way, it seems the participants are free to explore the manor at their leisure. The entire first floor is available to them at all times, and any attempts to maneuver outside or to a different floor will prove useless. Seems you're going to get very familiar with this area over the next week or so.

There may be something there that wasn't there before, namely, a set of rules posted next to the bios. Take heed of them, mortals. If you wish to have a private conversation with your Host, it's now entirely possible.

Exactly, the musical instrument. I'd have it with me right now, but for some reason I can't find it. By the way, if you ever find a sitar thiiiis big... [He demonstrates. It's pretty much as tall as Demyx] ...then give it back to me, I really want it back.

Was this sitar enchanted? How did it work?

No, it's not enchanted, it's just like...it's hard to explain, I just play the music and the water appears, takes shapes and does whatever I want. I could even make it hit enemies pretty hard if I wanted.

[Magic, how to explain that]

Hmm. But you need it in order to make your powers work? Could it be some sort of point of focus? Like a channeling instrument?

[Demyx's starting to get a bit confused]

Mmmmmaybe? I can do some minor control without it, but I like it more when I do it with the sitar. It's fun.

Uh, but I can't do it here. I can't even do the most basic tricks.

No, it seems they've taken away any superhuman powers on arrival. Did you use these powers for combat purposes?

Yes, that's exactly what I used them. There's really not much use to fighting techniques in daily life.

And who, exactly, was it that you were fighting? Other teenagers?

[arpeggiositar]

Yyyyyyes, actually. [One teenager and his friends, apparently] I was on my way to do that when I got caught here. This'd have been a welcome break if it wasn't for the part about having to kill each other!

[Demyx sighs. Heartless are usually defeated by Roxas and Xion, being the ones with the keyblades]

Interesting. There seems to be a disproportionate amount of battle-oriented teenagers in this place.

Does that mean you're not battle-oriented at all?

On the contrary! I'm trained as a boxer, and I have extensive weaponry experience. It's just that children and teenagers in my world generally aren't.

What kind of world is yours, anyway?

My home world? Just your standard Earth, from what I've seen. Modern, polluted, full of ignorant people...

But also beautiful, and diverse, and full of hidden mysteries waiting to be explored!
