Week 3
[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.
But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!
And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
[OOC: and don't forget to fill out this week's activity check!]

[Soos then leans over the table, aims for the white ball and hits it, sending it on a collision course to the one ball, sending all the other balls about the table. None of them fall into the pockets, though.]
Dang. Well, your turn.
no subject
But it actually is, and Soos' attempt goes a whole lot better than Pinocchio's does. He manages to aim it alright, but he overestimates how much force he needs to apply and the ball ends up jumping (or, rather, leaping) off of the table entirely and falling to the floor loudly, rolling away.]
.....
Uh.
So does that mean I lost...?
no subject
N-no, you didn't lose.
[He goes over to the fallen cue ball and places it in about the same place as it was in before.]
You gotta hit it with way less force, dude.

[He has a brief moment of internal debate-- he's sure if he doesn't hit it hard enough it won't move at all, so there's kind of a problem regarding finding the balance. But when he does give it another go, it at least stays on the table. The hit is still pretty forceful, and the ball just sort of ricochets off of a couple of the walls, displacing various other balls without actually rolling anything into a pocket.]
...Games are harder than I thought.

[Soos takes his aim again, shoots...
...and has none of the balls actually fall in. Again.]
I think I'm really out of practice.

At the very least, his last shot sets up a pretty easy one for Pinocchio. One of the striped balls actually makes it into the pocket-- along with the cue ball, but still, it's something. Pinocchio squints a bit at the result.]
Is that good or bad?

[Somewhere in the manor, Stan is getting a chill sent down his spine and he doesn't know why.
Anyway, Soos grabs the cue ball from the pocket and places it close to the full colored 7 ball.]
I'm pretty sure that means I get to put this wherever I want. though.
So, that means you have to go for the striped ones and I'll go for the full ones. Does that make sense?
[He wants to be a somewhat adequate teacher.]
no subject
Yeah, I think I got it now!
no subject
[He was really worried for a second there.
Anyway, he's able to send the 7 ball in the pocket, and he moves aside, gesturing toward the cue ball.]
Your turn dude!
no subject
Hey, why d'you think they gave us more rooms, anyway? I thought they woulda tried to make us bored, but instead they gave us more stuff to do.
no subject
...maybe to give us more things to kill with? I mean, you could probably kill someone with this pool cue if you walked them hard enough. I don't know anything concrete, though.
no subject
Yeah, I guess you're right... and there must not be anything important up here like we thought. Or else they wouldn't have just opened the doors.
no subject
B-but don't worry. I'm sure we'll find something useful!
