[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.

But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!

And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

[ There is so much to see with this new floor, so Kim is wandering about today. That's how she comes across Hiro. ...With Saba slid into a loop on her jeans, that is just a permanent fixture for her now. ]

Hey there, Hiro. Whatcha up to? [ Does he have measuring tape, that is the first question here. ]

[He does not. In fact, he just seems to be walking awkwardly and slowly along the length of the hallway.]

Measuring the hallway so the map's scale is correct. [He looks up to smile at her, but Saba catches his eye.] What's that? Some kinda cool hero weapon?

[ Before she can ask about how he's measuring or answer his question-- ]

Yes, in fact. I am very "cool." [ Kim glares at the sword. ] Ah, sorry, Ms. Hart.

You really were getting bored, weren't you? [ She sighs. ] Yes, Hiro, this is Saba. He really shouldn't be here, but what can you do?

Saba? [He makes a slightly confused face because in Japanese that means:] Your sword is named mackerel?

He- no, it's probably something in an alien dialect.

Oh, he's an alien sword? [This is the coolest thing he's ever heard. It's just like one of his animes.] Cool.

[ She opens her mouth to answer and then frowns and then thinks for a second. ] Probably? I think so? He was made on Earth but, by an alien, so...

[ A light, helpless shrug. Saba himself is going to be no help because he's kind of preening over being called "cool" again. ...as much as a sword can preen

anyway ] Yes, he's an alien sword. He's also not used to being around so many people he can talk to, so he's a chatty alien sword.

Does he normally only talk to you and your friends? [He can't relate. Baymax talks to everyone.] I guess that makes sense - you guys probably try to keep your identities a secret so bad guys can't come after you when you're not prepared.

Ha, exactly. Saba's spoken to all of...um, twelve people, before all this. He's also been retired, lately, far as I've heard.

Why, yes! Put into the vault, as they say, my purpose fulfilled. Though I'm not happy to learn Ms. Hart is here, it's comforting to be able to help her, in any way.

[ ...Awkward hair tuck. ] Thank you, Saba, I appreciate it.

Yeah. This whole situation sucks, but it's nice to know we have things like you to help us out. [Like. Even if he can't do cool alien stuff, Saba's still a weapon and that's good.] I really hope Kim won't ever have to use you, though.

That, you know, makes two of us. [ She's never even wielded him before, honestly, it's a little intimidating. ]

Speaking of helping out! Do you need any help with the...measuring? How're you keeping track of that, anyway?

Oh! I'm just counting steps.

[He points to the notes he has on his sketch of the second floor, which seem to be notations of how long and wide things are.]

I don't really need help, but I have a question: do you think that portrait gallery stretches? It's the only part of the map that doesn't match up.

Umm, I hadn't really thought about it... Logical floor plans don't really mix with magical pocket dimensions, which...I was kind of assuming this was.

[ But, now she is trying to and, hm. ]

Stretching would make the most sense?

The floor plan is super logical, though. [He was . . . kind of surprised by that.] The floors are almost the same size, except for the portrait gallery. It's like the portrait gallery is in this corner, but it extends out like this.

[He draws a quick octagon onto his map, slightly inconsistent in scale with the rest of it.]

Hmm... Something's really of about that place. [ Obviously. ] Everything moved, when we... When he did that trial.

It kind of seemed like a portal or something? But that's doesn't seem right either. [He makes a frustrated noise.] Every time I learn something new about this place, it gives me like fifty more questions!

Maybe it's, um...an optical illusion? Or the floor moves, and it just feels like it's still. Like- we went to a basement?

[ She really doesn't want to experience it again to test it, honestly, but. ]

. . . A basement. [He starts scribbling notes on his map.] It didn't look like there was a way out besides the portrait gallery, but if it was hidden . . . I doubt we could investigate the trial room, but I wonder if that's how they got us in here.

Yeah! [ Okay, if the genius thinks it's a solid idea? Radical. ] If only we knew how it worked. I looked for some kind of switch here before, but I found nothing.

I feel like it must have something to do with that whole speech he made before we started moving. [Why else would he say it?????] Maybe there's some kind of secret password you have to say?

Yeah, they usually have one of those, don't they? Um... I can't...remember all the words he said...
