Week 3

[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.

But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!

And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

Oh, the flower. He came out of the slot machine. I'm really starting to wonder what's the limit of ridiculous things they can put in there.

[What's next, he's gonna use it and Dipper is just gonna roll out of there?]

You're telling me. Jeez, from cats to plants...

[ There's a rather decorated looking short sword hanging on her belt, too. Tiger-head and all. She spares it a glance. ]

Do you, um...need any help with gardening? I've got a bit of a green thumb myself.

Yeah, actually, that would be pretty nice. I...don't really know much about plants myself, which is why I was reading this book.

[He holds up the book as he says that, showing that it has a sunflower on the front and that it's called 'Ready...Set...Grow!: A Guide to Caring For Plants'.]

Okay! Well, I...haven't really seen one just like this, but I think I can figure it out.

Well. it shouldn't be too hard. It's just a flower. A nice looking flower, but still a flower.

[How though. There's not even sunshine in this place.]

Oh, you never know! Some can be really picky!

How can a flower be picky?

[They're not really sentient?]

Well, you can't do the exact same thing for every flower and expect it to react the same way! Different amounts of water, or sunlight, or even different kinds of dirt.

Huh, really? Didn't know that.

[Gravity Falls does not teach much in the way of agriculture.]

You know, if I had to guess it might be some kind of lily? So we're lucky, those don't need a lot of fertilizer or water. Sunlight might be a bit of a problem, but lilies are pretty tough.
