[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.

But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!

And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

Yeah...yeah! I really oughta do that! Maybe I'll ask around and see if anyone else would like to make a band or somethin'....I think Mr. Arrow might complain, but that's just how he is most of the time. Hey, do you play any instruments?

[He shrugs. most trumpet players dont give a fuck] Psh. It's just a lil' spit, it won't hurt anyone.

Hmmm...no, don't think so. But I can learn, or do something that's easier to play. And Mr. Arrow might not be so against it. He just doesn't like singing.

Yeah, it's spit, but it's kinda...gross.

You could do some percussion--it's pretty easy to pick up, s'long as you know how to keep rhythm. The beauty 'bout jazz is you can improvise!

[He lets out a huff.]

You ain't gettin' a full jazz experience without singing, but I'm sure it's fine.

[Carefully, he sticks out his foot and swipes at the spit until it disappears. That's probably more gross than before when it was only in one spot, but Louis probably doesn't realize it.] Is that good?

Yeah, I could definitely keep rhythm. I'd just need a drum or something, right?

And, if we need to, we can just not play near Mr. Arrow or something.

[Good thing Soos is only a little bit more hygienic than Louis.]

Yeah! Just, like, a snare drum or somethin'. I can ask Freddie 'bout joinin' too, since she knows how to play. Maybe--ooh, or maybe Mabel? She seemed inclined to make some noise the other week. You know her, right?

Of course I know Mabel! She's one of my best friends back from Gravity Falls! And I'm sure she'll wanna join!

And why not have Freddie too? If she can play instruments, and she's willing, I don't see why we shouldn't have her.

Must be nice to have someone you know around--where's Gravity Falls, by the way? [Please don't say it's another planet. There's enough weirdness with Leia and Jyn.]

Oooh! That's a great idea! I'll round 'em up tomorrow, see if they're interested in joinin' up. Or, if you wanna, you can talk to Mabel, I guess? She seemed like she needed some distraction after the...the whole trial thing. It might keep her mind from dwellin' on it again.

Sounds good to me. I mean, I can't even imagine how hard this is on the kids...'specially since there are so many of them. And...lord, this week was just so much. I can't imagine what you're goin' through, though, since the people you know are here....

Yeah, it...it really sucks, to be honest. I talked with Mabel after the trial and...I don't think there was anything I could really say to cheer her up at the moment.

[It's never a good thing when he can't cheer someone up.]

Listen, I ain't exactly qualified to dish advice 'bout this sorta stuff, but sometimes there's just nothin' you can do 'cept stay with 'em while they sort out their feelings. Just be there for them in any way you can. Gators don't really grieve too much, but...my friend told me that's the way to go about it.

...You know, I think I might try that. I usually try being that guy that tries to cheer people up and make them happy they're feeling bad, but I've never really tried doing something like that. Maybe it'll work out.

[He offers a fist to bump. Don't leave him hanging.]

[Why is Soos pointing his fist at him. Does he...does he want a punch? He's going to stare at the fist for a moment before grabbing it with both hands and grinning. This is probably what he wants right?]

[He curls his left hand into a fist before lightly tapping it against Soos's fist. His expression looks like someone just opened up a whole new world to him.]

[Well, now he's gonna have this look on his face for the rest of the day, knowing he introduced the fist bump to an alligator from the past.]
