[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.

But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!

And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

[ Somehow, it's easier to sleep through the literal monstrous banging on the walls than it was last week. But regardless, Jyn starts the morning with a trip to the slot machine to cash some coins! Her haul isn't bad, but oh. So last time the machine wanted to hurt her, now apparently from this picture it's turned to mixed signals. Cool. Not focusing on that right now! Her attention is kept more by the actual plate of spaghetti and turkey leg?? ]

I guess that's breakfast?

[ And then there's that lockbox, which she opens and... ]

Later, Jyn ends up in the library, reading... biology and taxonomy books? She's. She's researching Earth animals, I guess. Like cats! And deer. And squirrels. She also has any unclaimed and not-food items with her if you'd prefer this prompt. ]

[Jane just thought she would peer over at the book in Jyn's hands... and boy she's not sure if she wants to go down this path.]

Okay, um... I suppose I should ask... why you're reading that.

[ Jyn sighs and thanks the Force she has a more pressing reason for doing this than "i'm got slightly twitterpated over this girl who is part squirrel yesterday." ]

I'm getting a little tired of making everyone explain Earth things to me.

A... bit confused when it comes to animals, right? [She can guess... and doesn't want to assume bad things.]

[She can’t help but notice that Jyn’s reading... something about animals. She can easily put two and two together and realize that maybe she isn’t from earth and she’s learning more on her own, but she approaches her quietly and speaks in a whisper. This IS a library, after all!]

[ oh hey what up... larger mouse? Jyn nods. ]

I'm not, and asking people to explain things about Earth is getting a little tiring.

[She takes a seat across Jyn at the table she's sitting at, and smiles.]

Where do you come from? I could help you out too! I know you said you're tired of asking people around, but I'd love to help out if I could.

I doubt you know the exact planets, so I'll just say space.

[ She frowns at the book. ]

How... many sentient species are there on Earth? I'm not seeing any besides humans, but here you are and here Louis is, for starters.

Space! Well... that’s vague, but I get it.

[She pauses to think.]

Um... well, I guess there’s a whole lot. I’m not used to seeing so many humans in one area, I’ve gotta admit... But where I’m from, there’s a lot of talking animals. It’s real neat, isn’t it?

[Pinocchio's still not really great at reading, but he does recognize from the cover that it's something about animals. Which, really, is one of the only topics he knows anything about.]

I'm trying to learn more about Earth.

Oh! Good luck! I'm still learning about Earth, too. There's a whole lot to figure out, though.

Any planet has a lot to it. You look like you've had a little time to get acquainted to it, at least.

Not really. I was only alive for a day before I got here... I've learned a whole bunch of stuff here, though, so it's okay!
