[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.

But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!

And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

[Man, he's been having to explain this a lot.] They're Rocky and Spinny! My pets! They came out of the slot machine too!

Really? Boy, sure are...excitable things, aren't they? [ not nearly the weirdest thing she's seen, though the big eye is a little strange ] Well, I'm glad they're out here instead of in there now. No fun being cooped up in a small space like that.

Yeah, they are! [Spinny whirls over to Kimberly, the wind that constantly blows around her ruffling the Ranger's clothes. After a bit, Noby also puts Rocky down, nudging the stone, who bounces over and hops around Kimberly's feet a bit excitedly.]

You can pet him, if you want! He likes that a lot.

[ How strange, he's acting just like a dog but he's a rock. Still, the dog-lover in Kim can't help but smile and kneel down to pet Rocky. ]

He's...less furry than I'm used to, but a good boy. Who's a good boy? Huh? [ honestly the weirdest thing is the rock dog shares a name with one of her friends tbh ]

[She'll feel the rock wriggling happily under her pettings, as well as a tickling sensation as it nudges her fingers, almost like being licked.] Yeah, he is! He's the best good boy, isn't he? Aren't you? [Rocky lets out another happy "yip" of confirmation.]

[ What...the heck, where's his tongue?! ]

My...gosh, he really is just like a dog, isn't he?

Pretty much! He knows how to fetch and play dead and tricks like that, too! [Stuff like "shake" is a little harder.]

How in the world...? [ You know it's better to not question it. ] How'd you get one of these as a pet, Noby?

Pet Polish! He used to be an ordinary rock, but then I rubbed that cream on him and he came to life!

Magic brought him to life? Like Pinocchio? Ha, wow...! You know, I thought you were more of a...normal, average kid, but you've got some weird things in your life, huh?

Well...it was gadgets from the future, not really magic! [Honestly there is No Real Difference between some of the gadgets and magic.] But yeah...after Doraemon came into my life things have been pretty different.

Who's Doraemon? Your gadget-dealer?

I guess you could describe it like that? He's a robot cat from the future, and he's got a whole pocket full of all kinds of gadgets.

...Huh. Don't hear that every day. He's your friend? How'd you meet him?

Well... [He looks a little embarrassed.] My grandson brought him from the future.

[ ...Alright, this one throws her for a loop for a moment. ]

Um...he was mad about my future because it was really bad, so he came back to try and help me improve that? I think it's worked, because he hasn't come back to yell at me again.

Never heard of time travel used...that way before... Huh.

Is it really that weird? Everyone would like to fix stuff that messed up in the past, right?

Yeah, but most people don't have the ability to time travel at will.

Yeah, I guess. And I guess Doraemon doesn't always let me use it...

You like doing it? [ Shivers! ] It's never fun for me, gives me the creeps.

...really? Why? Does your time machine work less well or something? [He's a kid who's never thought about the implications much, as well.]

Not everyone has a time machine, Noby. Or...even means to time travel.

Well...I know that, yeah! Me and Doraemon have the only time machine in town, as far as I know. But what you said sounded a bit like you have time traveled before.
