Week 3

[Well, someone took the bait last week, and now two people (if either of them could really be called a person) are dead. Not only that, it seems like your first host is now out of commission and replaced by someone who claims to be The Phantom. While he may not be incredibly worse than Facilier yet, it would be a stretch to say he's an improvement.

But, things aren't all bad! When the guests wake up on Sunday, they will find the stairs in the foyer are now open, leading to a whole new floor to explore!

And there's booze so no one will have to drink vinegar anymore.

It's Spinny! She's a miniature hurricane, but she's still pretty tough! [He pets her as he gives her praise.] I got her out of that machine today!

Cool. [You know what? He's just gonna accept this. He doesn't have the energy to find this weird.] What are you guys up to in here?

[This is probably after he's talked to Remy, so at least he knows she can subsist on stove-hot air.] Well...she feeds on hot air, and she's been gone for so long I wanted to give her a treat, you know! But this is the only place I could find with fire.

Do you have to feed her regularly? [He's genuinely interested about that because it sounds like a Problem he can try to solve and he's honestly in need of something to think about.] Wonder if anyone got something out of the slot machine that could help.

Well...she eats about once a day? But more if she's been blowing stuff around a lot. I guess if that monster comes she might need more energy to hold it back too. [He flinches a bit as a crash and roar come from the wall beside them.]

It's too bad we don't have a fireplace in the library. That would be perfect for her.

Yeah, she'd definitely like that! [Spinny has apparently heard the word "fireplace," and hovers over excitedly. A fire place? A place that's all fire?] Oh yeah, you've never seen a fireplace before! I should try and find one to show you after we get out of here...

You'd think a mansion like this would have one, but I guess whoever built it wasn't into fireplaces.

[Which he's actually a little bit glad for because honestly that would have made his week so much worse when he was just seeing fire.]

We should definitely find one for her once we get out of here, though.

[He nods happily, petting Spinny on the head.] You hear that? It's a promise, okay? As long as you're a good girl, we'll find you a fireplace and you can eat as much as you want!
